Struggling to sell or just not worth it? If some of my February-April games sell for reasonable prices but above STH rate I actually may not lose too bad. The schedule has some good matchups on paper. We shall see. I do feel like they been offering a few things they havent in the past like courtside for a few games and the offerings in the loyalty package were better albeit had to react fast. In hindsight wouldve been cool to pick suite seats for either a Bucks or MU game even if the options were non marquee games. I did get the 15% season discount at pro shop on Saturday by asking too. May have been lucky. Prices are insane though. I wanted a Ray Allen purple/green tank top and it was $90 lol.

I think they go hand in hand. Paid $90/ticket for my 2 last Saturday against the Hawks. Got offered to go with a friend in the suite. It a Saturday against a Playoff team we played in the ECF 2 years ago, Bucks are hot, and Giannis was playing. If I would've sold them on TM I wouldve got $50/ticket, so I gave them to my dad for free. On the opposite side, if I sell one game at a profit I will then have to pay taxes on it and can't really net it against the money I lost.

My seats are ok. I can regularly find better seats cheaper last minute on TM or somewhere else. Last night I got 2 ticket Row 2 upper deck for $25 total. I pay $3,600 for one seat lower behind the basket. My benefits were guaranteed giveaways, the STH event, and and fiserv framed photo I'm probably not going to hang up.....IDK maybe the value is $100 if I was asked how much cash I would pay for it? Just doesn't seem worth it on good days, and you are a Giannis injury away from those tickets becoming electronic paper weights.

All that is before getting into going to 40 games (versus say 10) because you have tickets where it may be more enjoyable at home with a six pack of beer that costs $12 and a blanket instead of a $13 michelob light and driving in the snow to a game.

All good points. I tend to forget about the tax thing. I wonder how much that will affect me and it would be nice to deduct my losses (maybe I can?). If my tickets struggle to sell for face in February-April, I may give a hard consideration to give them up too. I have a pair in row 2 upper level vs Dallas on a Sunday that Im struggling to move. Giannis vs Luka, weekend albeit a night game, and struggling to sell at my cost. I feel like I have to sell the marquee games to cover some of the Pistons and Kings ones. I hate taking a 33% hit on the exchange all the time too. I enjoy being a holder so I’d like to hang on but its no longer the no brainer it was a few years back.

That Dallas game is going on at the same time as Packers/Eagles Sunday night football. If the Packers continue to circle the drain demand for the Bucks that night may increase.

Buddy just asked me if they should buy tickets on game day or right now. Told him to wait for game day since Luka is on the second night of a back to back.

The pro-move is waiting till a couple of minutes after tip, or buying the cheapest ticket you possibly can to get in the door, and then sniping incredible seats as tickets that are unsold second hand plummet. Managed to grab 5th row or so behind the Bulls bench in the closeout game of that series last year for around 80 bucks a pop.

I've had less success doing that the last couple years. Surprised you got it for the playoffs since i would think there are dozens of people who go to the Deer District and either find cheap tickets or stay at watch it outside.

I was already in the building in the bleeds for that game, but ultimately found the tickets near the close of the first quarter. It's a bit easier living downtown so close to Fiserv. Helps a lot when it comes to being opportunistic. It doesn't have to be this huge event where I'm geared up for a commute.

This is a great season for cheap tickets. The new arena smell is gone. The championship was 16 months ago, many fans waiting for the playoffs to get interested.

I'm loving it. I go see a top contender for the cheapest prices since the BC

How much more expensive do we think playoff tickets will be relative to the regular season? Been a few years since I flew to town for a game and am thinking about making a return. I’ll probably just end up doing a regular season game but am curious about potentially doing playoffs instead.

IMO first two rounds weeknight games will be cheaper than regular season weekend games. Weekend for playoffs will obviously be more expensive.

Thanks! Might have to more seriously look into a playoff game then. I can work from Milwaukee if it's a weekday game anyways and it would be nice to check the city out more when the weather's a little bit warmer.

Yeah I think its entirely matchup dependent. If its a team that is somewhat popular and/or “rival” (Nets, Bulls) there may be a little bump. If its just a random mid tier team the week night games will be had relatively easy and reasonable, especially if the team doesnt have a real star player.

This is definitely the cheapest tickets have been since FF opened. I've picked up some great lower level seats cheap.

Only difference is the cost once inside the stadium. My friend in college used to joke the BC was the best bar downtown on a Friday night. $5 cover (last minute nose bleeds but just moved to side upper deck which were underrated), I think beers were $8 for 24 ounce cups? Now it's close to double that and tip is expected.

If tickets are going cheap, the crowds should be louder right? Wasn't the criticism before that the high ticket prices priced out the "true fans"?

I brought three people to their first pro game ever tonight. They barely understood what was happening. Had a great time and now love Giannis.

If you want loud fans, you need to halve the cost of beer.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”
