As a Golden State hater, I'm really enjoying their struggles. First they slide the glass slipper onto Andrew Nembhard's foot, and last night they turn Simone Fontecchio into Cinderella.

They are the fairy godmothers of the NBA.

It'll be interesting on Christmas to see if the Bucks maintain the "not overhelping" off of weak side shooters when Boston will inevitably attack the dropping defenders.

Here's my hot take on the Celtics: They went to the Finals last year and are better this year. Tough, tough team. It might be their turn.

People tried to downplay Boston because of how good they were down the stretch last season and said it wasn’t sustainable, and then they made the finals. This board spent all last season downplaying Miami too. I understand they’re our rivals and this is a bucks board but damn  .

I agree regular season doesn’t matter as much but it seems we’re going to far and suggesting good regular season results isn’t conducive to playoff success or something, or might be a negative sometimes. The Celtics are better suited for the playoffs than the bucks right now, pretty easily actually.

With that said though, I still believe the bucks are really close and could beat them for sure. And I think we would actually be better if we made moves for a third scorer and wing defender.

And they are specifically a bad matchup for MKE. I'd agree with this general sentiment that they need to be taken seriously and are legit. Of course, the equalizer or thing that could still have it go our way is that we have Giannis and they don't. That big wing defender need likely needs to be addressed by the deadline to try to put us over the top.

They are certainly beatable. The most "unbeatable" team I've ever seen is the Durant Warriors, and even they almost lost to Houston.

But I think they are more than a run-of-the-mill contender or even your average title winning team. We'll have to be better than we were 2 years ago, and we may need to add a piece or 2 before the deadline to matchup better.

I still wouldn't want to face the Warriors in the playoffs (yes they will make the playoffs).

As for Boston, certainly a very good team. They will be a tough out in the playoffs. SO WILL WE. The hot takes after the Xmas game will be fun to read (I'm sure I'll have plenty).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I said this in the GT, but if we have our starters healthy (mainly Giannis, Khris, Jrue, Brook) we can beat anyone, or at least compete toe-to-toe. Boston is good, but they don't scare me. They added Brogdon, we added Khris.

Yeah, anybody can beat anybody if they go thermonuclear from three. Warriors can still do that.

As for the Christmas game, I plan to maintain an unblemished record of even-keeled posting. All games are circled, but no games are circled bigger than others.

Greatly anticipating some of the games coming up, starting tomorrow at Dallas. @ Boston on Xmas is must-see TV.

If it happens to be a loss, I can't wait for Fotis' hot takes.

They may soon be teammates if the Warriors send Wiseman to Utah.

Brogdon turns 30 on Sunday. He's basically a 50/50/85% player, while averaging 14/4/4. He's been utterly amazing for them.

He's always been a borderline all-star/glue guy. Boston's title hopes ride on his health.

He can shoot 50% from 3 but only 85% from the FT?!?! Outrageous.

Ja is so quick it can be tough to see those things in real time. But the way NBA politics goes with their stars I doubt they crack down on him too much.

That guy has been posting that stuff for tons of players lately, including Giannis. Seems to his schtick to try and get out there on twitter. Big news, traveling is allowed in the NBA. Jordan never did that back in my day, oh wait...

A lot of those are carries, and a lot of the ones he had on Giannis were too, but this dude does not know the rules. It's not a carry just because your hand is under the ball, there are other criteria that have to be satisfied. He also believes that if your pivot foot comes off the ground, it's a travel, which if true would be bad news for almost all shot attempts.

Some of these are egregious (or appear to in slow motion when you stop the video 7 times), some of these are borderline and obviously not called in the NBA, and some of these are legit not violations lol.
