You have to consider you have to add some draft compensation just to dump gallo; so using him for a trade salary just increases the price you're gonna pay in terms of picks.

I believe press release has always been he's out for the season. But not completely ruling out an unexpected return. Happy he's making some progress with his rehab.

I know the safe (and most likely) bet is Gallo out for the year but I wouldn't be surprised if he was back by mid March. Though I am not really sure that it is worth it. Maybe just a token appearance to feel like part of the team.

This DPE is perfect size for a buyout candidate, which, in best case scenario, could be similar caliber to Gallo! Or in worst case scenario, Mikki Moore.

We all should have learned our lessons with Hayward by now lol.

The league doesn't give out these player exceptions willy nilly for players that are coming back.

At 34 it's in Gallo's best interest to rehab with world class medical care to get back as close as he can to full health and then retire. This isn't his first rodeo with major injuries.

And who knows if he's lucky maybe he gets a free ring out of it.

This team would be even more insane with him lol. Really the biggest loss with his injury is gonna be making sure JT and JB are fresh for the playoffs. Both already playing 37 MPG and not getting many off days
