Took the Suns 26 games to get their 10th loss; last year it took 51. The Crowder jokes seem to have cooled off.

For the Pels, that Zion/Nance frontcourt is very fun. Wish we'd gotten Nance one of the many times he was available.

I was really high on Cleveland coming into the season, I thought it was plausible that they could get the best record in the East but that was as much a function of figuring the Bucks and Celtics would be load managing guys throughout the season as it was about the Cavs themselves. But while I still like this team as a regular season team and still love their long-term upside, its increasingly clear that barring injuries to Boston or Milwaukee that this team has a 2nd round ceiling.

That's interesting. That would probably put them at a 50-52 win pace for the season which would likely be in the mix for a top-4 seed. Even with that record against winning teams, I'd still favor them against all of the 12 teams below them in a playoff series.

I agree that there's a lot of issues, but I think number one with a bullet is Evan Mobley and his offensive development. If/when he becomes a consistent offensive threat, that solves their 2 biggest issues.

The Cavs are getting Rubio back soon. They were 20-14 with him last season.

Personally, I hope they keep on keepin’ on on that treadmill!

Their pick goes to Orlando unless it is in the top 4 due to the Vuc trade. Orlando could end up with a guy who looks like a future All-Star in Franz Wagner, a very solid big in Wendell Carter Jr., and whatever this pick ends up being from that trade. What a disaster considering they might not even bring Vuc back as he is a free agent after this season.

Feels like the Heat are in a battle every night with average teams.

Donovan Mitchell has been out and didn't play last night. Add on to that, the Cavs have had continual injuries, so haven't been a full starting team for a lot of games. I think if they have their full starting lineup and get Love and Rubio back, they'll be plenty good.

Average is a very kind way to describe the Spurs, whose only other wins since the beginning of November have been the Rockets and the Bucks who were without Holiday, Middleton, Giannis, Connaughton and Grayson Allen.

Feels like the Celtics might be down by 20 right now if Brogdon wasn't keeping them afloat.

horford and blake looked bad previously in systems where they were overutilized or just bad fits period.

both flourish in boston for the same reasons some of these old guys seem to flourish with us. talented well rounded teams and simple comfortable fits for what is being asked

brook i think is a kind of example for us. lets not forget what his perception in this league was when he came in and whats happened since

The way Blake is being used is brilliant but its also not at all able to be used in the playoffs. Tonight is Boston's 27th game of the season and its Blake's 11th and as far as I know he hasn't had any actual injuries. They play him 15 minutes a night once every 2.5 games and so he gets to come in and play in these very brief bursts to mask their frontcourt depth issues and really helps Horford's efforts to make it through the season relatively health.
