Kidd are using C-Wood in the worst possibility way. He needs ball in hands and takes shoots.

He is not an intangibles guy. He is a rebounder and a scorer.

Following his season-low 17 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Nuggets, Christian Wood said, "I would love to play more. I’ve voiced that several times, but I just play my role.”

The Mavs improbably lost to the Nuggets, who were missing Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon, and Wood's lack of playing time was perplexing to say the least. The big man finished with just five points, seven rebounds and two steals in the one-point loss, so his frustration is understandable. Wood averaged 31.5 minutes in two seasons with Houston, but that playing time has plummeted to 24.6 minutes in Dallas, and Wood has come off the bench in each game as a Maverick. Fantasy managers surely share Wood's sentiments, as he's ranked outside the top-150 in per-game value after being drafted as a mid-round pick.

I think he deserve to start but it's not a problem for me right now. He plays well and still learning the system.

I like the guy. Hope the will resign him.

I would assume not starting can hurt his value in free agency? It certainly won't do him any favors.

Maybe yes... But i don't think Nico want another Brunson drama, we can't hit next FA without an extension.
