The whole we need Harden instead of a younger guy in a Simmons trade narrative is definitely proving a huge mistake. Harden is not done as a player that can put up numbers, but his slow dribble the rock style and athletic decline make this pairing untenable. Harden-Embiid does not work and Embiid is not the problem in that pair.

The offense should be simple, give the ball to Embiid and move out of the way, if you are not Embiid all you have to do is stand behind 3pt line waiting to catch and shoot.

I really don't get why Doc has Shake and Harden play so many minutes together. They are effectively the same type of player on offense on a team devoid of point guards. I don't doubt they can play well together in spurts, but it minimizes Shake's value imo.
