Bey still shoots a high % when he steps into a 3 or on a catch and shoot. What's killing him are all the times he tries to put the ball on the floor 1st. Even that single dribble throws off his mechanics, usually because he's contorted at the waist.

Edit: and he immediately drains one off a single dribble. Figures.

Duren single-handedly trying to keep pistons in the game there. Heckuva effort.

Duren with some monster boards down the stretch... interesting that Burks is in down the stretch over Killian, and that Bey is in over Stew. I guess who starts and who finishes isn't always going to be the same but I thought Killian was doing pretty good this game creating for teammates.

I'm at the point where I almost flinch when Burks handles the ball. Too many turnovers and his off the dribble stuff looks forced. And he has at least 2 horrible fouls per game.

I know I mentioned earlier that I thought Burks was a terrible defender and someone called me out on it. I double down on my original statement. I just don't see anything positive that he accomplishes on the defensive side of the ball.

Duren finished with 13 boards and Bojan has that monster 3rd, I lost track but I know Bojan scored over 20 pts in that quarter.
Pistons with a 68 point 2nd half.

Eta: Ahh here it is, he finishes with 25 in that third, one off the franchise record-

Bogdanovic’s 25-point quarter – one off the franchise record of 26 shared by Will Bynum and Reggie Jackson – came when he hit 7 of 9 shots, including 5 of 6 3-pointers, plus a perfect 6 of 6 free throws that came when he was twice fouled while shooting a 3-point shot.

25 posts game thread, I guess I am not the only one who lost interest in this **** show. I feel bad for Bojan, I hope we trade him somewhere nice, the guy is a monster and he tries super hard every game.

Bojan would help these Lakers sooooo much. Too bad they have nothing to trade that isn’t 5 years away.

I didnt catch the game yet. Boxscore performances look like the status quo for us. BB killed it. Youngest player ITL Duren looking like a future rebounding champ. Then everyone else from meh to terrible.

I dont want to trade Bojan. Him, Cade, Duren and our 1st should be our staring lineup next year.

I figure everyone was getting smashed after the improbable Lions win, and didn't want the aftertaste of loss.
The crowd I was with was, which is why I didn't watch the game.

Looks like the only one. At the end of the day, he was 4-8 from 3P range, 1-6 from 2P. He needs to improve both, really.

If Bey shoots 50% from 3 point range at 8 attempts a game consistently, he's one of the best shooters in the league .... Much better shooting night from him than he's had lately. He'd been passing up those catch and shoot opportunities or bricking the rare one he took up until the last game or three, so nice to see him starting to work out of his slump.

He's a guy I can see who replaces Casey.

Maybe. I'm still hoping Chauncey comes back if Portland falls apart.

That is my other thought.

Return to Detroit Pistons
