IMO it's the contrary, France has been the best team in the tournament from start till now, while Argentina, while on a crescendo, are still too dependable on Messi's brilliance.

Don’t get me wrong France is still the team to beat, but they haven’t looked like world beaters the last two games. England had their chances and Morocco is showing they have some open spaces in the back half that could be exposed under the right circumstances.

They play Morocco, way better team than Argentina as a unit , this is their final , later they gonna stream roll Argentina

He definitely did. It was going in.

Anyway WHAT a close one to end the half by Morocco.

Getting chippy.

I wonder what the atmosphere is like in France?

Morocco playing some good football and looking dangerous from set pieces here.

Something to build on, for sure.

Man, if Morocco keeps getting set pieces, they'll equalize

I don't disagree with you, I just think these things happen due to France's playstyle... they play open, fast pace, fast passing, so they LOOK exposed, but they aren't.

This France's squad is looking very, very strong, I'd even say better than ANY squad of the past 3 WC's. IMO of course.

Just by the virtue of having Messi on the other side of the field, France will not be able to push as hard as they've been doing with this Marrocos' team... they will have to position themselves a bit more behind in the defensive side due to not giving Messi an open space for him to feast on!

And this is France's B team missing some key players. Wonder what would have happen if France's A team was playing

As far as I know from my experience with french people, a mix of being pissed off and being blasé... lol

Cheers!

It's fun to see two teams who don't care about possession.

My prediction for the second half is that Marrocos will suffer 1 or 2 goals from France in counterattacks, due to having to open up the game.

I hope I'm wrong though, I'm STRONGLY rooting for Marrocos to win this **** match, lol

Spot on (again).

This thing of keeping possession of the ball to the extreme not only kills futebol, for an entertainment perspective, it's also bad for the purpose of the game itself.

They don't play to win, they play to NOT LOSE.

It's like you having a basketball match but you take out the shot clock, then some player scores 2 points and you end up watching the rest of the match with both teams passing the **** ball around, lol.
