Nice one!

I remember seeing him play in São Paulo (before Palmeiras), where he won the World Championship (Mundial de Clubes) back in 90/91 if I'm not mistaken.

That São Paulo team was AMAZING. Raí (number 10 on the 1994 team) was there as well.

Coach was Telê Santana, probably the best coach Brazil has had.

He coached the 1982 and 1986 WC teams... have you watched them? 1982 was, by many people, considered the most impressive brazilian team that DIDN'T win the WC.

Here's a nice Telê anecdote for you to enjoy:

They don't have a choice lol

It's score or go home.

They did at the start though. They purposefully went into this game with an offensive strategy, taking on that risk.

Nah, the gameplan was clear: pack it deep and sit on the ball. It's just that France scored so quickly all that was out the window before anybody could break a sweat.

No matter the sport, ISO ball can get ugly with team mates open and watching.

That was weak by Morocco. He should have shot the ball there. Even with your weak foot.

Morocco had had more of the ball before the early goal. It was that open space between the midfield and defensive lines that allowed France to get that through ball in to score.
