Good.

Tell him Ken in Hawaii (from when he was at Pete Newell’s Camp) would love to be a nominally paid consultant.

Quick turnaround once Tommy and Wes have their shot over the next 18-24-36 months.

I’m certain.

Can't get too much more SoWiz than Jamison coming back as GM. Maybe him and Caron Butler as a coach. You know Juwan wants no part of the boos that would still probably come his way as coach (if just for old time's sake). And bring back Jahidi White as the conditioning coach.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

I think I'd probably prefer Gilbert Arenas as GM. That guy has a unique basketball mind. And if his career as an NBA player is any indication, he has an obsessive work ethic. We already know he has a freakish ability to recall the salary of nearly every NBA player. And I also think he has enough of an alpha mindset that he would probably be a good negotiator too. He would flat out tell Beal that Beal isn't good enough to deserve a max contract.

Jamison is probably too nice to be a GM.

How much would these ex-players tend to pick players who were like them?
Neither of these 2 played a lick of defense.

Alternative So Wiz

Danny Ferry is Bob Ferry’s son
Bob Ferry was GM back when the Fat Lady sang.

Ted IIRC brought in GMEG who promptly fired perennial playoff coach Eddie Jordan.

The only GOOD COACH SINCE EJ was

Randy Wittman (lover of veterans but a Bob Knight disciple)

So Wiz is CONSISTENTLY they choose subjectively to cling to THEIR GUY. Not winners…just cult of popularity or nepotism

I remember wanting Ferry as GM. Atlanta was good under Ferry before the racial non PC cancellation. DeMatha and Duke and Spurs organization son of Bob Ferry NOT CONSIDERED in lieu of FIFTEEN YEARS OF ERNIE DRAFTS. Thirty/five million and five years to Scott Brooks. KD and Westbrook and Harden and Ibaka and Big PERk team. But KD? No way he plays in DC for Brooks/ Grunfeld

Same organization that ratted, snitched, publicly jettisoned Gilbert Arenas because of Gungate. Crittenton?

Forget it. Too much wasted concern…

Didn't realize Bob Ferry was GM from 1973-1990. Wow!

And then he was on NBC as an analyst with Pat Riley. Saw some old NBA Showtime pregame show footage on YouTube.

ON TOP OF THAT... :)

Back in the day I was working at New Carrollton Mall (Bradlees) when Danny was IRC the nation's top HS baller. He would wear his DeMatha letterman's jacket... I think I'm about 5-10 years older than DAnny...

I feel like I've been knowing about DeMatha forever. Morgan Wooten and them got ALL THE CALLS... lol

Washington would have been WAY BETTER OFF with Danny Ferry as GM.

Washington would have been way better off with Forrest Gump as GM; Ernie was a disaster. OR, better, never making a single move, just drafting whoever draft express or the equivalent had as the consensus pick at our spot with no trades and resigning our existing players every single year.

I did realize because I vividly remember.

Charles Johnson (CJ)
Bob Dandridge

The 60-win team under a great coach that lost to Rick Barry, Clifford Ray, George Johnson, Keith Wilkes

The Fat Lady singing and the rematch loss to Seattle supersonic

I’m wasting air here .

When Grunfeld was hired I said What About Dan Ferry.

For year and more BEFORE TOMMY was hired I said, HEY WHAT ABOUT TROY WEAVER (local guy w Carmelo connect and OKC connect that probably gets KD)

But white Coach their way was 5 years of Scott Brooks

Bob Ferry-Google his wiki page if you care to

Truth is

I would be a better GM than Antawn.

None of you would even come close to MY RESUME INVLUDING (c)

Including Kevin Broom

My military
The university faculty facilitator position
My years as an educator (teacher tutor paraprofessional)
My Masters (yeah I know about Wes’school)

Ed leadership Troy

BS Mathematics Bowie

Basic meteorologist course Monterey at the PG scoop USN

My USAF Captain (03). Kareem not only captain

I’m really one

Geez

If Ted had the sack to meet ME?

No. Im an outsider. The corporate culture ain’t shifting parAdigm.

BG? Let Britney talk

Big black Kenny? Oh, he’s crazy or needs meds or has issues

(Gafford perhaps might best be analyzed via OBJECTIVE PERFORMANCE CRITERIA). Metrics

Ir forecasting…you mean there math and science involved ?

Honestly, some damn idiots will read this and surmise I’m delusional but funny thing is

NO

I do have faith and I realize there are barriers of entry into the old NBA boy club AND EVEN MORR into mngmt

***oligarch oligarchy..,the bottom line is pertinent to the goals of the Gold holder (he makes rules). Owner and media and forced agenda via NBA is what it is

No regular folks EVER get into the “club”

That one was arguably good for both teams. The 5th(?) pick Devin Harris had a long, productive career for the Dallas Maverick organization.

Mark Cuban // better owner than Ted Leonsis BTW

I think handsome, personable, and really good person and player Jamison IS A CORNERSTONE for the Wizards. I am glad he laughed, too, when Gilbert fired air pistols. AJ had the same kind of smooth, wInner demeanor as Ray Allen without having made enemies anywhere.

The question and more importantly HIS ANSWERS would be very enlightening pancakes3

Jamison becoming the next GM in DC after Shepp would be 'So Wizards'. Nice guy but just say no to any former Wizards. Get someone from that Memphis front office who knows how to draft.

Return to Washington Wizards
