Could she be mediocre? Why her in mediocrity?
Well of course she could be mediocre… any coach you hire is a gamble and no guarantee they’re gonna be great. Why do we have this worry when a woman is discussed and not a man?
Probably because its a mens basketball league and they want someone that can relate. Plus being able to think like a testicular being might be an edge, hence men.
That's the only advantages i can think of...
Hmm, wouldn’t most dudes on a basketball team be a bit more comfortable with a male coach in the locker room and all the usual “locker room banter” can go on without watching their mouth to make sure they don’t offend a female coach?
Also, with the whole Ime Udoka fiasco, it makes you wonder if teams are also evaluating that more going forward and wondering if you’re taking on additional risk by this female coach potentially spreading her legs for one of the players?
With udoka, teams are not as worried about him fu*king the players on his team

but bringing on a female coach there is a little bit of that concern.
I understand that for a coach to get that high level of job obviously she’d have a good amount of professionalism. But nature is nature you never know, sometimes things “just happen” as women explain to their soon to be ex husbands in movies
