Kudos to Jacque Vaughn. He's winning these guys over and the system is yielding results.

Playing Yuta last night to close out was a great decision. I honestly think that Yuta should start but why mess up chemistry

I attribute the first half to rust. The second half was akin to more of what this team is about.

Most of you said he’s upgrade over Bruce Brown , I don’t remember Bruce ever have less impactful game Oneale had this game , or O points game

Overall good win , but O’Neale can’t have this kind of games, poor defending, 0 points , he’s liability anywhere you look

Joe Harris should start ahead of O'Neale. He moves better without the ball and obviously is a better shooter, which is needed when you have Simmons and Claxton together in the lineup. I don't think it's a big downgrade defensively either.

Maybe you’re right , problem is Joe is inconsistent himself a lot , sometimes he almost look like vintage Joe , the next game he is just pop pop platter

The same could be said about Patty and Seth , I don’t think I ever saw 4 players being so inconsistent on one team , it’s almost like a lottery every game with those 4

Distance shooters are typically inconsistent. They're not going to go 4 for 10 from 3 every game. One game they'll be 2 for 10 from deep and another they'll be 6 for 10. They'll also go through stretches of consecutive good and bad games. The important thing is that they impact the game in other areas, especially when their shot isn't falling.

Kyrie is a stone cold killer. Claxton was great in that 3rd quarter. Yuta balled out. Great come from behind win.

Agreed. On top of that the officials were god awful. Siakam should have fouled out of that game

Also, even if Joe is off, teams cannot afford to gamble off of him. That gravity creates space for everyone else to operate

What a game Yuta had, you could tell this game meant something extra for him. Guy is just automatic from the corners, loads of pressure on that last shot but he buried it ice cold.

If I were to nitpick JV I thought Clax not playing the entire 4th was a mistake, if you look at the baskets the Raptors in the 4th every single one was a layup except for one Van Vleet 3. No rim protection really kick started their whole offensive rhythm and almost bit us at the end , Clax was absolutely dominating the paint on both ends and if he played in that quarter he'd be close to a triple double with blocks. To quote Ian Eagle that was definitely a "Clax On" moment when we were handing them layup after layup.

There's something fishy with the officiating in Canada, I watched their previous home game against the Kings and it was one of the most one sided games I've ever seen called. Raptors lost by 1 but I thought the Kings should have won about about 15 points, that's how bad the refs were.

I honestly think that some of these refs gamble on these games via proxy. It's so easy now to do that it wouldn't shock me

Yeah, Barnes was dominant in the 4th and not having Clax out there was a huge part of that.

Jacque has been experimental with some of these line ups. Three
things that I need to happen:

Curry and Kyrie cannot play together defensively

Take Cam out of the rotation

Keep Claxton on the floor.

Honestly with Joe, Yuta, TJ, Royce and Mills, i think we should shop Seth. Nothing personal but he might end up as the odd man out

KD took a huge shot at Nash in the post game, saying that everyone is more relaxed now because they all know their roles.

And Harden took another shot saying there was no structure when he was here.

It also helps that we have a coach that is maximizing the roster and helping the players succeed instead of standing there clapping.

Vaughn is a decent coach. We need to admit it.

I think Vaughn is averageish coach but man is he coaching his ass off.

Its obvious how passionate for the game he is and constantly looking to get things done. Its a clear contrast from Nash who looked like he didn't want to be here and his stoic indifference. I think the players are responding to Vaughns true love for the game.

Vaughn is proving himself right now. He had no shot in Orlando.
