For me it’s not disgusted, it’s just life. That and reading people make the same basic complaints about the same 2-3 players.

I more just watch parts of the games when I can

2 pages game threads, earlier this season game threads were 5-6 pages. Come on.

On the "look at how many people arent posting" point. This isnt just a pistons board or realgm thing. Its all kinds of forums that have lost posters from videogames-fantasysports-poker-travel. People have moved to reddit, discord, and twitter for chat.

Obv some people likely quit posting due to the team sucking. Just moreso making the point that forums arent the main way of talking like they once were unfortunately and numbers are down everywhere.

Yeah I've been enjoying Twitter for basketball talk way more.

I've always preferred the message board format and won't use any other.

No offense guys, but do you guys still support Blaha as the main voice? That is the Pistons voice on the highlights yes? I've noticed this with several teams in the association, it could even be said about the Lakers late voice, that the positions are held down by the older mainstay instead of a younger, shall we say more vibrant voice? I don't really understand it, it would seem ratings would be better with a younger guy who has maybe a more colorful personality, but sometimes fanbases are just endeared with the older guy who has been there awhile

I will admit, starting this season out was harder because Cade wasn't playing well and we were playing horrible, horrible defense.... and defense is often an effort thing.

I've been posting here 20+ years and I do also feel like I really used to love posting here and the discussions that would go on but its certainly been way more toxic the past year or two than it was in the past.... even with the excitement of the #1 pick and being early in a rebuild. I too have considered stepping away for a bit just to get a break which I think makes sense if you're not enjoying it anymore.

I tried and-1 ing this, somehow didn’t work. So this is my way of trying to do that

Definitely. The games without him aren't the same. They go down much more in value, and we're not even a good team.

Blaha has been a staple for so long, it's weird watching a game without him. With that said, he has been saying some odd things lately, and missing plays as well, so if he decoded to hang em up after this season, I'd be good with it.

I just hope they don't put a low energy slug in his place. There are a couple of new broadcasters on some teams, and some are wretched.

What were the odd things?

I think blaha is still good. Better than Johnny Kane at play by play at least.

Bingo. That and vociferous delivery of garbage analysis.

Disgust with the forum is a lot more likely to be the reason for less traffic than disgust with the team.

Odd, because Pistons.com official message boards closed down. I would have thought this place would have been busier.

I think it's a mix of all the things people posted here.
