I used to love both those places. Back in the day I was often the only white person in either spot when I dropped in. But, I'm from Chicago & have always loved eateries of that kind.

The Fla Ave Grill didn't seem to have changed much when I was last there about 18 months ago. Ben's, OTOH, is usually full of young white hipster wannabees.
