Nearly top of the East with their second best player out all season till the last week.
There's no other player that dominates both ends of the floor and simultaneously puts fear into opponents, also on both ends.
He plays in pretty good team too, 4:1 without him.
It does feel like Giannis gets some favourable treatment on this forum. Tatum or Embiid has a bad game or two and they get written off. Giannis has lost 2 of his last 3, averaging just under 21 a game in that stretch and shooting 37.5% from the field (small sample size, granted). Meanwhile, whilst he continues to load manage, his team is now 4-1 without him… and the narrative is still that he’s dominating in a really poor/injured team, and should be the MVP front runner??
