On top of that Deni has regressed. Barton & Rui have been two of the worst rotation players in the league. Corey hasn't made any progress and the recent 10th pick is so bad, he's stinking up the NBDL.

Wes might not be a great coach but this roster of softies would likely look as bad with any coach.

I think he got hired primarily because of nepotism. It is the way with this Mom & Pop organization. He should have never taken this job. He was on his way to take a better job due to being associated with Denver.

But, I also can't let him completely slide. Dude was ALL OVER Johnny Davis pre-draft. He was sold apparently because Davis understood his complex schemes or whatever. You could be Einstein out there, but if you stink up the joint in G-league games (Vernon Carey is dominating in comparison), then one's evaluation skills need to be scrutinized.

While I will say WUJ is not entirely to blame, that much is obvious, to absolve him of any blame based on how this team is playing and organized is just inaccurate. He's let three guys in Kuzma, Beal, and Porzingis basically do whatever they please when they are on the court, and that selfish play has snuffed out anything close to any team brand of basketball they were playing earlier in the season. He continues to be a vets buddy buddy coach, only cares about tenure. After that, accountability be damned.

Sam Mitchell on NBATV astonished that Beal didn’t get the ball for final shot. Doesn’t seem to know how well that’s worked for us the last few years. At least Kuzma with his height can get a shot off. Unfortunately we don’t have anyone to go to in that situation.
There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics — quote popularized by Mark Twain.

Coaches should have input on the draft but the Davis pick is squarely on Shepp. That's his call. They said what they look for in an ideal prospect and none of it included skill, length or physical ability. Shepp is overly focused on meaningless adjectives like 'scrappy', 'gym rat', 'hard worker' and guys that can 'play coach' in their notebooks.

Even if it was nepotism, Wes was qualified. And they interviewed a ton of people and took over a month.

My gut said Darvin Ham should have been the pick coming off an NBA championship. Former player. And he’s got a limited Lakers team playing decent defense.

I'm not saying he wasn't qualified (he was obviously). I'm saying he got this job because of his last name. He (selfishly) should have never come here and tried for any other job.

NBC Sports Washington is a complete clown show State-run media. No honest analysis is allowed. Most unprofessional broadcast in the NBA (what else would you expect from Turd). Part of what is making this losing streak nice is that every day these clowns like Chris Miller have to continue to be total homers and act like Baghdad Bob out there. I wish League Pass would allow me to watch the opposing crew broadcasts immediately instead of 3 days later.

Huh. What app do you use to access League Pass? I'm in Boston, and use the Roku app, and it allows me to choose the away feed on live games.

Unfortunately, I'm local, so I can't watch the away announcers for Wizards games until 3 days after the game. It sucks. They force you to watch the local games on cable. I can watch every other game (choosing which announcer team) at anytime live.

There’s only 30 jobs and he interviewed for a few others over the years.

It didn’t help that Michael Malone, Tim Connelly, the reigning NBA MVP, Jamal Murray, etc were pushing hard for him to get the job too
