Billups really ended the 3rd and started the 4thv with our worst offensive players.

Blazers didn't help themselves, but some really questionable reffing in this two game trip to OKC. Tonight especially. Chauncey probably should've gotten himself tech'd up at some point in the fourth for the amount of hits our players took in comparison to theirs and the fouls called overall.

Wow this team really has forgotten how to play recently, how on Earth do they only score 98 points in a game against the Thunder?

Another 3D chess game by Billups in the 4th.

Refs have been atrocious in OKC, at least they seemed to just let them play vs giving OKC 37 FTs like the last game.

I really think this team would be wayyy better with a different coach. I’ve been missing Stotts lately, tbh. I would have loved to see what he could have done with this group.

Another tough close loss. It’s pretty concerning that Portland has been outplayed and outsmarted by a young team with a worse record two games in a row.

Portland has to clean that up at the end going forward.

I'll tell you what he would have done with this group. He would have sat Hart in the corner along with Jerami.

Chauncey had to go with the lineup he did to end and start the fourth because Dame needed a breather and Ant had five fouls. You can't play Ant with five fouls at the end of the third and the start of the fourth.

Stotts lost me as a fan when he failed to challenge that foul on Nurkic against Jokic in the playoffs. It would have been the perfect challenge as replays showed Nurkic didn't foul, it would have prevented Jokic from shooting 3 fts and broken Denver's momentum in a game Portland led at the time.
Billups does need to show he can coach. He has done some good stuff but also bad stuff. The main thing is Billups like the team as a whole needs to show improvement.

Embarrassing to lose this way twice to an inferior team in one week but the silver lining is it wasn't blown at home. Either way I'm not sold on this team. I'd re up Hart before grant honestly if he's cheaper

Tough to loose to OKC, team behind us we should of beat rather easily.

But my biggest concern is how bad the referring was in these last 2 games. So one sided…

We shouldnt have lost to OKC twice, but its not like they are Houston or Orlando. SGA is a legit superstar, playing better this season than guys like Dame, Ja and Booker. He is wildly talented and any team with a guy like him can win on any given night.

Simons was a total net negative this game, Dame was off, Nurkic was quiet and Grant should have gotten more touches moving to the rim as he was scoring whenever he got the ball in that spot.

I'd give the team a pass for they are on the road at a time where much of the country is under frigid conditions.

Everyone stay safe with the ice storm about to arrive

Nurk only played 20 minutes and had a pretty impressive stat line for the minutes he did play, he should have dominated the undersized Thunder, and his screens would have been helpful as well. There was no reason to wait until the 5 minute mark to bring back in the starters, Billups is not a good coach. Ant i can see sitting but Dame didn’t come back until the 7 minute mark after sitting at 3 something in the third. In real time he probably had a good 15 minute rest, he could have come back sooner.

Chauncey’s line ups late in games has been an issue all season, this isn’t anything new.

Stotts wasn’t a bad coach but a change was needed. When he had actual defensive players we had average to above average defense so I don’t think Billups is actually better at anything.
