Trez+Korkmaz for Noel would work salary-wise.

Saves the Pistons some money this year and next. Might require a 2nd?

I'd be down, but I still irrationally overrated Nerlens.

Still, at the very least he's a very good defender that plays more under control than BBall.

Durant and Butler should be the only options here.

The Nets are figuring it out, I have to assume Durant is going nowhere.

Beal and LaVine seem like the best two guys who could be acquired currently. Playing either one of them with Harden is a huge ask defensively.

It is Morey's MO, though.

Dallas fan seems to like Tobias for Wood and Hardaway.

Wood certainly improves the defense and rebounding. He should be able to play with Embiid for spurts as well.

I know he's a bit of a locker room cancer, though. But he is expiring, so if he sucks let him go. Hardaway, when healthy, helps on the wing and can shoot and score and put forth effort on defense.

Maybe you can get a pick out of it as well?

That one is actually pretty intriguing. Gets Harden his lob threat and Hardaway is basically the player we wish Furk was. I’d think that Morey would give that one some pretty serious consideration.

If the Mavs want to move Wood after 28 games, I'd stay away. That speaks volumes.

Lavine and Williams for Tobias,Maxey ... As the bones of a deal I'm over that if realistic.

I'm scarred of Maxey on a max deal. I want him as sixth man. Lavine ,Beal or Durant with Embiid for a couple years is scary. . Especially with harden dishing the rock.

Idk how much blame to put on Wood because no one ever seems happy in Dallas. Not sure if that’s due to coaching, Luka, or something else but it’s always messy.

I'm not downgrading a starter to get a backup for Embiid that's gonna play 8 mpg in the playoffs.

Tobias is playing exactly how we need him to. Sucks that he makes so much, but that just makes that much less likely.

I'm moving away from the idea of trading Tobias for other role players. He's filling his role just fine, is loved by his teammates, and can step up as the 2nd or 3rd scorer in spurts. If a star becomes available, he's the salary filler to ship out with Maxey (if Morey wants to go that route). Otherwise, a lateral move doesn't make much sense mid-season when the team is gaining familiarity with one another.

In terms of talent...Yes, but not by much....With the current makeup of our team? Hell no! Tobias is the much better fit.

I would have said hell yes to this idea when the season initially began, but Tobias Harris has completely shut me up. I was never much of Tobias detractor anyway, but he's really playing great basketball right now. The best I've seen of him since his LA Clipper days. He's really becoming a valuable player in this offense, he's figured things out, we've waited four years for this. In my opinion he goes nowhere unless it's for an offer of a lifetime.

I don't think it's in our best interest to swap Harris for a high usage 6'5" guy that can playmake and shoot. It just makes us smaller and worse on the glass. And Doc Rivers DEFINITELY is not the kind of coach capable of experimenting with a modern, smallball offense.

Certainly not enough of an upgrade to include Maxey.
Sixers hard no. Chicago would send Lavine immediately on a private jet.

Only deal I'm interested in making with Chicago is a smaller deal where we land Alex Caruso and Patrick Williams.

Caruso gives us a playoff worthy G that can shoot, playmake, and defend. We already have one of those guys in DeAnthony Melton. Having two of them puts us in an extremely favorable position.

Williams gives us a big, athletic 3&D F. Something we don't currently have. Something we desperately need if we want to compete against some of these Eastern Conference playoff teams with scoring Fs.

I think there's only one player we should really consider moving right now and it's Thybulle. He's been on a bit of a tear offensively recently (by his standards, lol) and we're approaching the end of his contract. Someone like PJ Washington would be an interesting target who is on a similar contract timeline. Or we can try to target a team that needs some shaking up and willing to give up a young prospect like GSW's Moses Moody.

I wonder if we can use Thybulle to get a stat stuffing G to help on the glass.

Someone like Terance Davis, Josh Hart, or Terence Mann.

Thybulle and fillers for Drummond? I kind of like how we were with Drummond as back-up C.
