Prime Shaq would be easily number 1 here imo and even if we're strictly looking at Shaq in the 90s overall I think he has a good chance to top the list but if it's only 93-96 in Orlando then he drops a couple spots. Ewing and Pippen are a pretty clear bottom 2 to me and not really in the discussion with the rest. Malone was also an easy cut after them because he wasn't really better in the regular season than the guys above him and definitely worse in the play-offs. Top 2 was also an interesting one to me. Yeah, yeah, I know David Robinson looks great in limited +- sample sizes and Barkley is the typical offensive star who doesn't offer too much on the defensive side but Robinson still has the considerable offensive drop off in the post-season. I contemplated putting Barkley ahead because of this but while Barkley's career play-offs numbers are as good, if not better, than his regular season numbers, he's a bit inconsistent year to year. Robinson has a clear regular season advantage (let's be honest, the list of players ahead of him for just the regular season is pretty small) and Barkley only being noticeably better in the post-season every other year isn't enough to overcome that.

Because Shaq was more consistent in the play-offs than Malone.
