I would love to see Demar back in Orlando but I made my choice in free agency and gave his money to AD. If I wasn't forced to give Nurkic a NTC I might have flexibility to add another 300+ salary, but as is I'm cash strapped.

not many guys in the east that make +$300 unless the hint wasn't a hint at all and its not in the east.

I never said it was someone in the East. Just that they might beat Hoffa in 7. :D

I figured East because I was thinking that in order for a West team to beat Hoffa in 7, they'd have to get by you first. However, if we are just talking a hypothetical series between Hoffa and a team not necessarily talking actual playoffs, then there are a handful of teams out West that could qualify.

correct that is how I saw it...the west would open up a lot of additional possibilities but in the east. The teams that probably can take derozan and go to the finals in the east are CHA ($ doesn't work), CLE ($ doesn't work), and You. But I guess you can make a case for Milwaukee or Indy but it would have to be a few pieces going back.

If it's East, my guess would be Indy. Milwaukee doesn't have the "young" guy in the hint. Their offer would need to be something like Westbrook and Harris and neither qualify as young guys.

Indy isn't moving Trae. I don't think they move Siakam either unless it's for a top 5 center. Mikal? E-balla has been talking about how he has missed out on defensive wings. But then again, Buzzard really placed a high priority on him in free agency. Would he move him even in a package for a 4.5 star guy?

Eballa could be just trolling us all as well and he's staying in OKC.

OK. So someone that can beat Hoffa in 7 but not necessarily in the finals.

That means San Antonio, Golden State, LAC, Portland, Denver, and Dallas enter the mix

Maybe his roast of Deez for the Jokic trade was a troll because he's getting some of those guys in return for DeMar.

White flag? Never that. Please believe I'm still taking you to 7 at least. Just with a bit of a different squad than expected.
