Jacque Vaughn is a solid coach.

With that Sixers pick, what players would be a good fit to help solidify the rotation? Stretch 4/5? big wing? POA defender (i.e. Caruso)?

We should trade that pick to Atlanta in a package for John Collins

Very solid win even though they were missing Middleton. I thought we controlled the pace of the game well by pushing the ball and never allowing them to get their defense set. In a series against the Bucks we'd certainly be looking to capitalise on our advantage in transition as Ben and Kyrie excel there and it also helps negate our patchy spacing in the halfcourt by playing Ben/Clax lineups.

Ben really showed his value today on both ends. Offensively he gives us another ballhandler with size and passing skills who also loves to push the pace, and defensively he was excellent on Giannis by getting into his airspace without fouling. He genuinely gave Giannis some issues by meeting him at the point of the catch, which looks to be quite effective since once Giannis takes that first dribble there's not much you can do to stop him with momentum behind him. I also love how hard he ran back on D to track Giannis, if this is the Ben we are getting there is no doubt he will be a plus to us in the playoffs.

All in all a great team effort, we run 10 deep right now, I don't think we've ever beaten the Bucks with KD and Kyrie doing so little.

If Atlanta wants to send John Collins here for Harris, Thomas etc, do it

I would’ve do this trade yesterday

No thanks.

Seems like Collins would be a great sixth man next to Claxton and Simmons. Would still play big minutes.

The starting five + Curry, Yuta, Warren, and Collins is a pretty strong playoff rotation.

You know they all now lurking on the Nets game , grinding their teeth and feeling stupid for Ben appreciation thread on their board lol

Just me lol. With that said, Sixers have won 7 straight and harden just dropped 21 points, 21 assist and 11 rebounds with 3 turnovers vs clippers

Harden went 6-17 and is one of the worst defenders in the league.

Have fun with that washed up quitter. Simmons just shut down the MVP of the league in the 4th Q.

I wouldn't make that trade. I'd rather have Harris's shooting.

We are good enough as is if Simmons keeps improving.

Only thing we need to add is a backup Center.

Our perimeter defense and shooting takes a bigger hit than the upgrade from Warren/Yuta to Collins as a 6th man. We need another big guard that can be a point of attack defender more than another big.

Statement win ! lol so much for all the BS these casual fans were saying about our cupcake schedule. We spanked those Bucks. We don't fear no dear over here. Claxton and Ben put the clamps on that Greek boy. Everyone stepped up and did what they needed to do. We helped on the rebounds, limit the turnovers and played team ball.

Kyrie really really needs to learn how to fight thru a pick. He's too lazy on pick and roll defense he just switches automatically and gives up easy pts. Ben and Clax figured out a way to play with each other which is great. I didn't even realize Joe didn't play. TJ Warren was hugeee. We need to pick up another 2 way player. I think we match up well with Bucks especially if Ben can play his All NBA defense like he did today, Clax will bring it everytime and he has a nice tough around the rim now. This was a great fun win.

Good win. They’re a good team so I expected them to make a run. But we’re a good team too and we made key shots and got timely stops when we needed them. Kyrie struggled but he made some big shots when we needed them in the 4th.

Rotation is pretty solid to me. I do not want to waste that Philly pick on some bench player right now.

We do need a backup Center for sure. Hoping we can get one for a second.

I'm hoping Chicago blows it up and we can get Drummond back somehow.

Another thing in the past Bucks could just out physical us. Watching this game didnt ever feel like we got bullied by portis, lopez, giannis, jrue. We just have so much length with athleticism to matchup

Good win

This team is actually fun to watch & more importantly, the players seem to be enjoying it

Vaughn was very good once again

Interesting that Patty dnp after being good the other night - injured or strategic not to give minutes to too many munchkins v a big team?

Huge for the team that Ben is showing signs of getting back towards full health

He appears to have lost quite a lot of muscle mass & can only assume that he's focusing more upon core strength & flexibility than pounding the weights. Would make sense after the injury e suffered

Clax must be a contender for MIP (he won't be as we're the Nets)

Finally, Kyrie is just a magician

A couple of those layups he made over Lopez & Giannis were just absurd

Hopefully Tsai keeps him fully supplied with sage or whatever else is needed to keep him from doing something whacky

As for trades, Collins is really good & being woefully under utilized by the Hawks

Having said that, his attitude hasn't been the best either so fault lies on both sides

He obviously isn't a "big" so it would be a full on gang defensive scheme at all times

I am fine with that & think that it suits us anyway but he would need to buy in

I'm not thrilled about Giannis' recklessness and dirty plays, though. Like he did with Kyrie, he's sure to injure another player again.

Claxton just tweeted the play where Giannis yanked him to the floor by pulling his arm, and I noticed someone else shared a play from last PO's where he does it even worse to Grant Williams of the Celts. Looked like he was trying to yank his damn arm out of its socket.

I think the rest of the teams need to send a mass message to the league office to get the refs to start calling fouls and techs on the guy. KD is apparently the current league leader in techs, but it should really be Draymond and Giannis I'm thinking.

Again, Giannis is sure to injure someone at this rate.

Yes Giannis is a dirty player and it's such a shame with a dude his size, it's actually pathetic. The play when Claxton got a technical because the ref called a foul on Clax but he was trying to explain that Giannis elbowed him. And on the replay you can clearly see Giannis swing his elbow right into Claxton chest which should of been an offensive foul. He swings his elbows on alot of his drives but the NBA loves to baby certain players.

Collins is fools gold, he is not a center and he is not a wing shooter, so you can't have him on the floor with Simmons and Claxton. It's better to have a shooter like Harris who is also a decent defender. With Simmons as your point guard you need as much shooting as possible.

Giannis is the most protected player I've ever seen. He gets away with everything offensively and defensively.
