I think it was AG himself who wanted to be more and had nobody on the Orlando roster of sheep to redirect him to his best role.

yeah, i agree he wanted to do more (whether he could or could not)
Dwight was the same way. became an almost HOF player, then wanted to do more than he could and fell off the map (also due to some injuries)
