Game 32: Sixers vs Knicks..... Merry christmas

Post#1 » by Murray_17 » Sun Dec 25, 2022 12:57 pm

Merry Christmas to all

First away game after cleaning a 7 home game stretch. The team comes over the moon after winning against the Clippers and coming back from a 20 point disadvantage.

Knicks come on 2 game losing streak but before that they also won 8 on a row.

National sixers in Christmas tend to go either way, so who knows

Merry Christmas to everyone here at RealGM.

Merry Christmas, no better way to celebrate it than watching our Sixers lose against Knicks

God Jul, everyone! Here are key takeaways for today's matinee matchup:

- Which Jalen Brunson will show up?
- Which bench will show up?
- Will PJ's minutes stay below 28?
- And will Milton continue to finish games with the rest of the starting 5?

Understandably, this has all the makings of a trap game, given our 7-game winning streak. But if the good guys can limit the Knicks' bench and make Randle/RJ try to beat us in an inefficient manner, we should have this in the bag.

Won't be easy but need to win this, especially after they punked us at home earlier in the season.

Can get a really major win streak if we pull it out.

Merry XMas, Happy Yule and Saturnalia too!

Merry Christmas

Harden is talking about going back to Houston? I would see them giving him more money than anyone else, but if he really is thinking this right now, he has mental problems and will never be happy anywhere he goes even with the chance of a ring.

Disgusting that Woj could get that report about Harden at this time of the year.

Woj is a petty dweeb, that's all this is. He's still salty at Harden and his camp for misleading him during the trade deadline and making him look like an ass on national tv.

Quoting myself from the general board

I'm not worrying for this until June, so whatever.

Also, i doubt Woj reporting on Harden after the Sixers/Nets trade saga.

Obviously just trying to create some leverage where there isn’t any now. He knows he won’t waltz into a huge max deal based on his age and current performance, and also that zero good/contending teams would offer him even a healthy deal (combo of don’t need him and don’t have the $). So the Sixers have no reason to start the bidding high, his market just isn’t what he wants it to be. The only play is to find another situation that can raise his starting price, and a bad team with a ton of money that he has some vaguely plausible reason to go it is the move.

I’d question the vague plausibility for both HOU and Harden there though.

Maybe it’s just me… but I’m fine with Harden leaving. This report means nothing AFAIC.

Refs is likely going to make it a close game

Embiid is playing like dog crap. He is not boxing out and taking dumb shots. He should be dominating Robinson
