This reminds me of the Hawks comeback game from 2021. D

Damn this team loves to be dramatic. Credit to the 2nd unit for the great comeback and for the starters in OT by feeding off that energy.

Without LeBron or Kenny around to carry him, Lue is truly no better than Doc.

Hope you turned the game off midway through the 4th. You gotta earn an ending as good as that one.

This team got into it's own head after those technicals. I hope these losses cause the team to pull their heads out of their asses.

Well, a win is a win, but my oh my, this should not have been that difficult (theoretically).

I'll give the Pistons props, they are inconsistent and lacking in top end talent, but they don't roll over. They fight, which means on any night if things are working they can of course make it hard for the opponent. Brooklyn recently barely got past them and they've put up some decent fights. In the end, just happy a loss to the Pistons was not on the docket for tonight.

Like I said, in PG13 I trust. Amidst some of the ridiculous shade thrown his direction on this board, he completely took over the OT period.

Pistons have some great young talent and they played their heads off... but veterans and veteran coaching wins out when the pressure is on. Unless they sell all their assets, Pistons are going to be fun to watch.. actually they already are, if tonight was a representative performance.

Just watched that T-Mann shot that got us to OT. Honestly very surprised he took the shot instead of handing it back to PG. Good for him.

But here's the problem I've noticed: they hate waiting. They've been waiting all their life for that first championship, and it's eating them inside so much, they're fed up and just want to skip steps. That's where the entitlement comes from, the frustrations, the anxiety, all the feelings that can lead to a morally corrupted franchise.

The process is like a flight of stairs. To get to the next level, you need to walk up the stairs one step at a time. You can't just magically get to the second floor in just one step, but people can run up the stairs, hop over a few of them even. Sure it's faster, but you gotta watch your feet when going over those steps. Get too careless with the stairs, and you'll end up hurting yourself, badly.

Going to bed tonight with Clippers in 4th place in the West.

Ugly game. Morris and Jackson might need limited minutes , around 25 per game. Unless they are on fire offensively .

Reggie played 19 minutes and was plus+9. It was Wall [26 minutes, minus-26] who almost lost it for us. Then PG [minus-7] almost lost it for us...but then won it for us in OT!

Morris I think most of us could take or leave--mostly leave. But Coffey and RoCo have not put up any better numbers, in fact worse. The constant scapegoating is not matching up with the scorebook.

The fact is, this is a different team with Kawhi to cover for its shortcomings--scoring, rebounding, defense, assists--whatever we're lacking on a given night, the Ultimate Glue Guy provides it.

That's no sin. Take Steph or Giannis or LeBron off the past 10 champions--or Kawhi himself twice!--and their teams are not all that impressive either.

Jackson has been doing as well as you could expect, Wall has been putrid after the great start.

Yes I agree with your points.
