Vote Ben Simmons

While he is a valuable role player right now 35, 37 and 40 million is just huge numbers, and you don't know if the bottom could fall out mentally.

Vote: Ben Simmons

Big long deal plus back issues is a bad combination, but the killer is that he might just decide not to play. When a player has shown that even money won’t get him to play, he could be a career-ender for a GM, if things go south. Guys like Duncan Robinson or Bertans could be awful but they don’t get the publicity to end you.

Nominate: Bradley Beal

Good player, but making $250 mil, his final season is a player option (PO’s are always negative) for $57 mil, but the killer for me is that no trade clause.

V Duncan Robinson

One of the longer contracts, and he’s paid specifically to shoot, currently sporting a 53% TS

Honorable mention, Westbrook. The worst expiring contract (I fully get this becomes nothing if he gets dealt and not bought out by the Lakers or new team).

If these are the nominees, I'd say the league is in an incredible spot with regards to the quality of contracts.

Vote: Duncan Robinson-Long and expensive deal for someone who is basically just a shooter but can't shoot anymore it seems.

Nominate: Marcus Smart-Lots of money and years for a role player.
Why rely on nuance, facts and logic when you can bludgeon the other side with mindless repetition of "Duuur McDaniel's has potential :tooth and still be treated as if you were reasonable.

I think this has to be Michael Porter Jr. It's by far the biggest one here and he's played 0, 55,61, 9, and 18(so far) and its not like his level of play is even max worthy if you ignore that he barely plays.

I don't understand how anyone seriously thinks Duncan Robinson's is worse much less that being a near consensus.

Well Duncan Robinson got his deal because of his shooting. He doesn't really do much else well and he's not even doing that good. I don't think there is much of an argument over who people would rather have on their team if healthy. Its a big "if" sure but Duncan Robinson is just completely unplayable this year. Heat fans probably wish he was hurt so Miami would stop playing him in a transparent attempt to build his trade value.

Fastest player in NBA history to 800 made 3's. Are you sure he doesn't shoot well?

Tell that to Miami fans who want him off the court ASAP.
