Throughout the first 30 games of 2003/04 season, Duncan still played basically at his peak level. We know he didn't sustain it due to injuries. We have to wait for the rest of Jokic season to conclude which season is better.

Give me Duncan over Jokic as defence matters in the playoffs especially with centers.

Furthermore Jokic every single year typically gets roasted on that end.

As his defences are some of the worst in NBA history.

it's been 3 straight years where Jokic on the court in the playoffs = a worse defence than the worst regular-season defence in NBA history.

2019: 117.2 on, 105.1 off

2020: 123.5 on, 114.5 off

2021: 137.3 on, 108.6 off

We're talking over 31 playoff games.

That's over a 3rd of a season playing defense that, again, is far worse than any team in NBA history has ever played.
Reggie Jackson is amazing and a killer in the clutch that's all.

Would you say that currently Jokic is a much better offensive player?

27ppg per 75 on +11% TS isn't sustainable.

Have to wait and see with Jokic and the conclusion of both reg/post seasons.

He’s slightly more effecient than last year with less of a load, don’t see why it’s unsustaibale

Definitely, but he's also much worse defender.

It’s tough because Duncan around the same age range gave up about 37ppg to Amare in the WCF

Duncan had 114.1 DRtg against Suns in 2005, which wasn't great but it's far from Jokic as well. Duncan also struggled with injuries during that postseason. When he was healthy in 2007, he had 104.9 DRtg against Phoenix.
