Solid win with everyone contributing. Big Zu with a Shaq-like 23 and 16 and team high +15.

Team shot 40% from 3, and that is with Kennard going 0-3. A lot of weapons from deep.

Positives considering all the injuries this year:
1. Full game up in the Pacific
2. Best road record in the WC (4th in NBA)
3. Best Opponent's PPG in WC, (3rd best in NBA, 2nd if not for last night's game).

Opponent's PPG has been too high on this road trip because we have allowed each team to be above their season average in PPG.

Positives? Where have you been, bro. We could have used you around here lately.

Yeah, it's still preseason for Kawhi. Not diving for balls yet but doing all the other Kawhi things. Tonight, led the team with 8 assists. FOUR Clippers scored 20 tonight and none of them was Kawhi!

It's going to be tough containing my excitement if Norm and Reggie can keep playing like this. Also, this might have been Zu's best game ever on a B2B (after a career high 41 minutes against Detroit, no less). Didn't start that strong, but found an extra gear in the second half.

If we manage to sweep Boston, who you know will have something to prove, then watch out!

Watched first half before had to go to store but looks like we were really solid in the 2nd half. Awesome!!

I swear whatever I say in the thread the opposite happens lol.

I say it's going to be tough and we win convincingly. Yesterday I say we are going to lose and we pull a miracle comeback. Multiple times I have said the offense looks great and then we have a horrible next quarter.

Maybe at the start of every game thread I should say we suck and are going to get blown out so we play amazing.

The old Costanza method.

Off topic: did you guys see what Luka just did to the Knicks? I know he torches us a lot, but 60/21/10 is on a whole other level.

At least you're not a hater. It's cool.

Clipper "fans" hating on their own team. Coach is stupid. Would rather lose with G-leaguers. What have you done for us lately. Every game a Game 7. Bench Reggie. Start Coffey. :rofl2:

Powell's start to this season was statistically one of the worst in NBA history. Tonight he's the hero. And let's not even get started on R-Jax. Playing massive minutes with everyone in street clothes while injured himself. Ty stood by them.

And OTOH, Kennard is a nice rotation piece but not an NBA starter defensively at any position, or a 6MOY candidate like Powell who can create points out of thin air either. Mann is a nice Swiss Army knife but a tweener at 3 positions. RoCo probably the same. I like him but he's behind Batum.

THIS is the rotation Ty has imagined and has been building toward all along.

Not so great Nuggets won. My opposite outcome syndrome strikes again.

Great game on the road with some emotional aspects featuring Kawhi and Norman. Zubac back to dunking with authority. He was a little injured which can explain why he seemed off the last few games.

Celtics are the next stop on this trip. Team gets one days rest in between.

Just a thought: if you're going to lecture people for "hating on their own team," it's probably not a good idea to segue into trashing Coffey, Luke and Mann in the same post.

Again, the West standings are so congested this year that every game does matter, and Lue might coach us down into the play-ins again if he throws too many winnable games away with his favorite veterans.

Life man! Can't dedicate time like I used to.

Clips just going through the motions to prepare for the real season, so can't exhaust too much energy if they aren't.

It's an art, like watching a sculpture being created.

OTOH, some people think it's like seeing sausage being made lol.

Good point. I've been hoping that Zu was going through a "dead legs" period after the big increase in his workload early on, and would eventually bounce back all the stronger. 72 minutes and 31 rebounds in back to back nights is very encouraging.

I liked that he was being more aggressive again. He seemed really passive last few games but like you said probably due to recent injuries and work load.

Aggressive Zu is a whole other monster.
