Zion is being built as one of the new faces of the league, Kat isn’t. Simple as that. Wolves played well for the most part but the Pelicans have an identity and KNOW what to run and WHO to give it to when it counts.

Refs in this one were so so so bad, first for us and then against us.
Games like this where overweight bowlegged bowling ball allowed to truck everyone and toss elbows with impunity and gets rewarded with 19 freaking free throws, is why the league is a joke.

Finishing the game with McD at the 4 is ALWAYS A LOSS. Maybe Finch will figure this out before he gets fired.
He had Naz Reid who had taken 2 charges and played good help D on Zion sitting on the bench the entire 4th quarter while NO was running big/big pick and rolls the entire last 6 minutes.
D-Lo tosses away another game with a sloppy pass at the worst possible time.
Nothing but ISOs in crunch time (though that dunk by Ant to tie it was INCREDIBLE, ball was through before help could even react.

This franchise is a joke. Soon to be passed by the Thunder.

Good game, sucky result, suckier refs

We need a proper PG so bad. For all the talk about how the team looks better with Reid vs Gobert, at least I can understand that due to how radical the stylistic difference is this early in Rudy's time with us. But the consistent mistakes from DLo is infuriating. And that's not even mentioning the lack of effort.

Yeah, I agree. But I also think this team needs multiple good passers. Towns, Anderson, McLaughlin are all good passers. I still believe that when fully healthy this roster can run Finch offense. But yeah, once again. we must absolutely improve our depth at PG or bring here experienced decision makers at other positions.

It's not good passers that Finch's offence needs, it's ball movers. DLo is a good passer, McLaughlin is a good ball mover.

It's actually one of the problems with KAT. He's a good passer but not really a ball mover.

I’m a pretty big fan, but I literally turned off a close Timberwolves game vs a healthy Zion because I couldn’t stand the reffing.

That’s how bad it’s gotten.

The last 2 minute report claims all calls and non calls were correct.

An offensive player hitting an opponent in the head is evidently up to referee discretion whether it was during the action of a basketball play.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
