Well Wemby being as hyped as much as he is will get a lot more chances than Bol.and even more than KP.

KP had injury issues derail him and he never really had a team built around what he offers.

So Wemby as a better and healthier KP is an MVP level player IMO. I just think that he moves like Davis but is much bigger. I think he will get injured a ton if he plays inside like Davis. Ultimately I expect Wemby to be like KP offensively but better defensively.

Agree. I do have serious concerns about his ability to stay healthy given that he plays like he's a much smaller person. Feel like that's going to get him into trouble health-wise. But while he's healthy, he can become MVP-caliber.

I'm taking Wemby number 1 unless he gets horrifically injured before the draft.

Because we've known for years he is a generational talent?

I think most people are interested in figuring out how the draft will shake out and who the values are. With Victor it is clear, he is going to be an amazing player, barring health. So yah, it's fun to see, but it's not really what will generate discussion here. By all means, post highlights, talk about it, whatever, but everyone here already knows.

You keep bringing this up like it's new information. We're way past that at this point.

i mean you keep complaining about how no one is talking about him...now that that you and others who didn't see it a couple of months ago are finally on board, what is there to talk about?

if you want to reopen the convo start talking about how he's undraftable again.

We’ve moved past all the other stuff it’s time to discuss the things he’s doing on the court. He’s adding new wrinkles every day, and there isn’t a chirp about it here.

Just don't feel like their's been enough Wemby worship going on here lately. This kid is going to be as dominant as a modern day Shaq.

Perhaps that's because people on this board for the most part aren't interested in the worship of prospects.

There is a difference between hyping up a prospect because you think they should get more attention and raving about a prospect that everyone already knows about who also happens to be the almost universal #1 prospect of the draft.

And if you feel like raving about Wembanyama then by all means, go ahead and do it. It's just weird that your main contribution in this thread is to complain about others who do not ‘worship’ him enough in your eyes. What's the point?

The point is that people think he's just a good #1 pick and have already moved on. The problem with that thinking is that it still undersells him. This is a guy who is going to change the entire landscape of the league within 2 years. Think about this like it is the 1992 draft. Why waste time discussing a guy like Clarence Weatherspoon who will become irrelevant the second he's out of the league when you could be discussing Shaq, who is a legend.
