Definitely should let Carey and Davis and Goodwin get burn. Gill, too.

How many big leads have you seen the Wiz get complacent and blow? Beginning of 4th is too early for garbage time.

I thought Wes did a good job with the rotations. Staggered KP and Gafford enough that we didn’t have to see Taj Gibson and didn’t play Barton.

Taj was on the injured list and not available to play. I like Taj’s contributions most nights.

Carey and Davis were not with the team tonight. They played for the Go-Gos last night and the Go-Gos play again tomorrow.

I want to get excited about this team, I really do. Not sure I buy it yet, but they at least have me no longer hopeless. Loving the Gaffzingis combo, the rarest of unicorns.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

He went with a tight, 8-man rotation (until garbage time). 8-man rotations typically look great over the short term because everyone still gets enough rest but everyone also gets enough minutes to get into a rhythm.

The only problem with 8-man rotations is that the end of the bench gets rusty and those players often aren't in good form when called upon if there are injuries or foul trouble. So most coaches don't keep their bench that short through the regular season.

It really was interesting that Wes kept Barton on the bench though. Barton has been terrible all year, but tonight, with Beal out and Orlando short-handed, would have been a good opportunity to try and get him back into a rhythm. It might be a sign that Wes has basically given up on him. Or maybe they're expecting he will be included in whatever midseason trade we make to accommodate the Kuzma resigning problem.

Go ahead.

I am excited by this team, fully healthy, especially without Beal.

(Bradley Beal and or family and friends, he’s got the bag.and seems like a Terrific Human Being. No offense to the young man. Strictly basketball)

I almost forgot how many turnovers we had, Orlando struggled to capitalize on.

Goodwin is better than Kispert. Don't know why he's not playing. He plays in garbage time, so the 50 game limit reason is not it.
Deni's complaining about every call has to stop. He's making a fool of himself, and he's wrong most of the time.
Kuzma's stats are so mis-leading. They don't reflect the big swings between great and horrible. He has so much talent, but he can't seem to control it.

Bol Bol was disappointing. He had his moments, but was inconsistent. He's still young and inexperience so there's time to improve.
Liked the way Fultz went right at Porzingus and scored easily. He's a jump shot away from being really good. Wonder if there's some way to get him on the Wizards.
Franz Wagner very impressive. Along with Porzingis, best players on the court last night.

Earlier this season, tleikheen suggested we trade for him -- I said that I didn't like the idea, but he was right & I was wrong.
