Huge for him and his development. G league will be a step up in competition and most important of all he will get exposure to our system and coaches. I’m not sure if he will be ready for the first team next year but this will go along way in helping.

I think hoopshype had a short news a while ago. Was wondering why that wasn't a bigger thing, but I guess officially he wasn't signed yet.

Never found anything about a contract in Brasil so maybe Warriors didn't have to pay.

Hope he gets a call-up at the end of the season.

I don't know any details about the Brazil contract, but I guess that wasn't a problem after all... I mean, a "big" contract here should pay, like, 3k dollars per month... it's hardly competitive related to the rest of the world, thus making it very easy for him to get out of it.

Gui should benefit from the change, playing in a more competitive league and having elite pro coaching & training. Let's see how he stands until the next offseason...

Warriors management light years ahead with our minor league club. I'm sure he had something he had to be bought out from but yet again the boys up top cut the check.

I am very curious to see what type of contract this will be. Good move for Gui, but his best opportunity in the NBA may be with another team.
