Arsenal fans can start dreaming. The impossible might just happen. At the start of the season I couldn’t imagine that a Man City with Haaland can lose the championship

This match isn't over yet and even if they win, they'd be 7 points ahead of City with two matches against them still to be played.
Arsenal does concede though, even in their wins.

7 points clear with only 22 games to play. Losing the title would be spursy now wouldn't it?

Re: 2022-23 English Premier League Discussion Thread
That's a basically the story for the rest of the season , starting 11 unreal , we get to the bench thinking it might be over to keep the first 11 fresh and it's a scrappy ending. Can we improve our depth this month and improve our margins for error?
Saliba's been sloppy last two games , hoping he's got it out his system going into huge games against Newcastle , Spurs , and United.

Being an England and Spurs fan is just endless pain.
At least if you're a Bolton fan, who have faced potential liquidation, your hopes are low. It's the damn hope that kills you.

Fulham is playing well, just promoted back and they're in 7th place currently.
Guessing they spent a bit since their relegation season.

There's so far to go. I looked up the major meltdowns in English football history and there have been a good handful, with bigger and later leads than Arsenal has now, just in the Premier League era alone. But today was the first time I let myself think that maybe it's just going to be their year. They've put a great young team together and they're clicking on all cylinders. But given how insanely competitive the PL is I wouldn't be comfortable with a 15-point lead.
I'm dying to see what Arsenal does in this window. A couple good pickups at this point could be critical. They obviously want this Ukrainian kid and he's even more desperate to come, but his club is playing major hardball (as they should) and that would be such a massive gamble on an unproven player. (The fact that they're even considering spending so much, perhaps foolishly, on a midseason buy is a big change in mindset.) Another midfielder and another utility attacker might be the wiser course of action.
If depth does become an issue I'd be more than happy to just punt the Europa League matches and treat it like the Carabao Cup. Who cares. The only priority should be these last 22 games.

I am not saying the race is over. Far from it, but up until now I saw Arsenal as pretenders(and everyone else for that matter), but now they are contenders. Hell, City are still the favorites to win it.
City are -250, Arsenal +250, with everyone else pretty much out of it.

Re: 2022-23 English Premier League Discussion Thread
Arsenal gave up a lot of possession, which might have cost them the game if that third goal was allowed.
That's not a good omen when they face City. Their defense may not be good enough to absorb waves and waves of City trying to create chances on their half of the pitch.

It's nice to see there are a few Arsenal fans coming out of the woodwork to join the old campaigners.
