Emery seems like he gets the fans which is what was missing from Gerrard, he praises the supporters a lot which is going down well with us (Dean Smith used to do this a lot). This also doesn’t feel like a managers bounce too, Emery’s tactical knowledge is so impressive. We change our shape in game a lot which I’ve not seen us do since Smith.

We got Liverpool and Tottenham after the break, I’m fairly confident in getting a result against Tottenham. Then we have the Jan transfer window to look forward to, hopefully we can sell a couple players as well as bring in a winger or two.

Feels good going into a break off the back of 2 wins, especially when you wasn’t fancied to win against both the teams.

Happy for Villa fans but if you could bring back Gerrard ball just for the Spurs game after the break, that would be great.

Well, Gerrard ball did make a return, but it wasn't Villa playing it.

Spurs played differently than they usually do, not waiting on counters but trying to build up and keep possession on the opponent's half.

But they couldn't get the ball in the box?

Haha unlucky Baph, was a much better second half. I’m happy that we look like we’ve formed an identity.

It was by design, I think Tottenham are more of a counter attacking side and we are too so we allowed Tottenham to have most of the ball which threw them off in the first half and early into the second. We just kept a very compact shape to deny Son and Kane a lot of space and let the rest of the game take care of itself.

Liverpool are another average and inconsistent premier league team. They aren't making top 4 like this. The premier league has very few "outstanding" teams this season.

Not that it was needed, but more proof that Arsenal's depth needs a massive boost. In desperate need of an offensive spark, their first and only substitution was ... a right back.

Whatever leverage we thought we had with Shakhtar in negotiations for Mudryk just got washed away , they're laughing right now lol

we badly need An attacker. Was odd he didn't even give Vieira a chance too

I'm not sure they had much to begin with. Fish the extra money from the seat cushions of Stan's 9th Rolls Royce!

The relegation battle is going to be pretty intense.

Chelsea is already getting good value for their 11 mil. loan fee. How many games will he be banned? 3?
