First year in a while that I am happy with a top 7 pick. Obviously it would be great to get 1 or 2 but we are not as desperate for a star as we once were.

100%

For now, Miller sits at No. 3 on my board for us. NSJ sounded like he would be a really good piece at the beginning of the year, but Miller has definitely passed him for the time being. Scoot or Wemby are the hope, but if we still get Miller, I'd say our rebuild is over and we have the pieces to contend if developed well.

Who is your favorite for the Bulls pick?

If Orlando don’t land Scoot or Wemby I would be OK taking Miller from 3 onward.

Franz/Miller/Paolo would be a good complementary lineup.

Wallace, George, or Black would be a good second selection with the Bulls pick.

Miller + Smith would be one hell of a haul if we miss out on Scoot/Wemby.

Can you imagine the “position-less” lineup options we could run with Franz, Paolo, Miller, Bol and perhaps Isaac? Holy cow.

Then you have 6’5 Guard Smith and Fultz/Suggs aren’t small either.

Trade Bamba and co for shooting depth but Miller and Smith should help with that.

Absolutely!
Miller is far more advanced on offense than Jabari Smith!

He is more advanced but Jabari is arguably a better shooter, Not a knack on Miller or anything.

I think his skillset fits well with the team we are building. He has the length and playmaking we need.

i can agree with that. Miller to me just more advanced with his overall offense

Was listening to Barlowe top 10 and they discussed a scout whose team has an advanced analysis selecting him as the #1 prospect in the draft. Wonder if its us.... but i'm sure our analytics might show something similar. We'll see if we hit on analytics this offseason.

love Rafael's knowledge of the game and watching his material. Had George at #6

Miller gives me Jabari Smith vibes. Worse defender but better offensive player. If you watch him all he does spot up and chuck 3 pointers.

are you kidding? Miller has much better handle and can score in many ways, 3 pt , iso, driving. and no, shooting 3 pts is not all he does. doesnt seem like you have watched many of his games. and at 45% from 3, i wouldnt necessarily call it "chucking"

Yes, he does have a far better handle then Jabari and far more fluid, hence why I said he is a better offensive player, but that is not saying much. In my opinion his handle is not all that speculator to make him any more special than others in the NBA or to allow him to do what he is doing in college to transfer to the NBA. The scouting report above speaks about what I am saying in regard to his dribbling.

ROLL TIDE!

Miller is more PG13 than he is Jabari Smith.

People also said Jabari was more PG13.

Unless the magic believe that Miller will be a better player than Fanz or Paolo or Franz is a full time SG, I just don't see the point in drafting Miller. The magic need help at the PG and SG positions in the worse way; that needs to be the focus.

I am hoping for Scoot and George. I would be ok with Nick Smith, Gradey Dick, and Amen Thompson (despite his lack of jumper just so much potential).

I completely understand the sentiment. I just love how he does everything else well; great creator, gets the rim easily, great defender, good passer and amazing athlete. My hope is that he can develop that shot but I can understand how that might not be the best fit next to Paolo and Franz. And he is playing subpar talent in the overtime elite league.

If we end up with the 3rd pick things get interesting. Looking at the tankathon big board you've got

PG: NSJ
SG: Amen Thompson
SF: Brandon Miller

I'd lean Brandon Miller but could get excited about Amen Thompson.

I would take Black over Amen Thompson

That is a huge red flag for sure.
