Dick can fit anywhere. If you have a hole Dick can fill it.

on a more serious note I do love his pull up game, quick trigger and can really unload from deep.

will also be interesting to see how Dick sizes up at the combine, if there is growth since HS then thats huge

He will get drafted too late. His shooting is explosive. :o

Too bad Devin Butts it not a legit nba potential. You could have had an historic draft in terms of (bad..) puns...

Seriously speaking, what's his defense look like ? He gets some steals but is he really good at making things really hard (please...) for his opponent ?

If he's just one sided, i just dont see the hype (aside from the name)

I think Dick only goes one way. He might be open to going both ways, but doesn't seem like he is that into it.

That's what the feeling i have after watching couple videos (and not just highlights).

It's not a player comparison, but if he's another Kennard, what's the point of such a hype (talking about the liability when the shoot is not falling) ?
I'd guess the march madness tournament might give an idea about how he handles tough defense coverage as well. Not sold on fat stats in the ncaa against most of ncaa teams (many are just really bad).

Jeez, i don't know, Kennard would seem to me a highly sought after piece by a ton of teams. Neutral defensively and just metronomic from three. He's been creating a little more for himself this year when he gets closed on hard. But his big selling point (efficient scoring aside) is the spacing he creates at no significant defensive cost.

Can Dick be that guy? I'm not buying it, not in his rookie contract anyway. I'd expect a good rookie year till about Jan and then when teams bother to scheme for him his efficiency will drop and the bag will be fairly empty when it comes to varying up his game beyond C&S plus backdoor cuts.

Defensively he will try hard, which is not a given for a lot of players. But league-average will be a target ceiling, imo.

Kennard in a 6'8" package is pretty exciting I think in terms of being a non-targetable defender and ability to get his shot off.

Kennard himself seems lotto-worthy to me, so I don't really even see that as much of a slight. The guy is good.

Dick is nowhere near Kennard as a prospect. That’s so insulting to Luke who is an excellent creator in college and ball handler. Dick is a one trick pony. I’m not a fan anymore

Honestly, I've only carefully watched him once and other than the shooting I didn't see much to get excited about. Having said that, there's always going to be some value in a tall shooter if he can defend at all. Not sure I see a Lottery pick though.

He’s pretty slow though. There’s no chance in hell he’s even going to be an average defender. He’s basically Duncan Robinson

Dick can fill the hole in just about any lineup that needs a shooter
