Yeah I agree. No moves.

Add a big off the buyout if need be for Claxton insurance.

But I don't really want any trades at the moment.

Seth and Sharpe should be it.

And I can chirp at Marks for bad 1st round pick lol

Not really. To be able to do so would require Marks having passed on numerous better prospects to draft a lesser player. Outside of Herb Jones, there haven't been many players taken later that have done much of anything.

That 7/11 combo is deadly ! Kyrie was on one today and his energy lifted the whole team, that put back dunk was sick ! Nothing bad to say on this one... let's keep the train rolling.

Bulls are going to be tough, they play the top level teams tough and lose to the bottom level teams for some reason. weird season for them but hope we can beat them too and keep the streak rolling.

Bulls are not going to be easy. Have to make sure we take them very seriously.

1 yes we peaking way to early , lots of time for other playoff opponents to game plan for us and make games tougher for us

2 So far we did ok with injuries or absences to role players , but major 4 KD Kai Ben and Clax , this 4 have to stay away from major injuries for us to have a chance in postseason

3 Sharpe needs to go , even today he was served with great passes at least 4-5 times , he f%caked every one of them , this guy got butter hands and BBIQ lowest in the league , if anything happens to Clax we are screwed big time with Sharpe

What’s good does Sharpe or Edwards for us right now ?

So we can as well sign Theo Pinson (at least he can do a floor swimmer after Kyrie highlights)

Good teams make moves for insurance ( Sharpe and Kessler isn’t any insurance), better now than we did s%it to Johnson and waived him just before playoffs

I don't think we peaking to early. This team still had few more levels to unleash.

Several key players still either searching for their role or in a slump.

KD needs to sit. He playing like bum past 2 games. We can use these shots for TJ. He's not ready for the PO.

Ben underperforming. Just watch some film guys.

Coaching stuff have work to do.

I'd like to keep Kess. If OKC called for him, than he has value.

I more interested in Cam picks. Different talking heads said he has value.

Cam can go too but what if we again hurt snake feelings?

I don’t know for now but few months ago KD and Cam was best buddies on the team , if that’s the case trading him maybe isn’t best option

Kessler I had big hopes for him , but he is either a bust or late late bloomer and doesn’t fit our timeline

We must be watching different games then

I don’t see any bum play in KD past two games , he was a bum in Celtics series , I call it how I see it

Ben is who he is , defensively he is great already , offensively he got lots to be desired, but you know he might get there or he will never improve on this end

Coaching stuff doing great work first time in 2.5 years , but I strongly disagree, we are at 85-90% peak already

We can be a little better , but not like a whole lot better

Than we definitely watching same game differently with expectations being opposite.

Only thing I'll give you is that KD knew where help was last game few times. Other than that, he took step back. Shooting still efficient but not while evaluating others. Huge issue.

Last game KD took some bad shots while TJ was wide open 3 times. Forced hero ball and TJ visibly was not ok with it.

Only way let Cam go if you get sure bet difference maker right now like Olynik. Other than that it should be top 10 pick. A lot of GM's as usually let gem slip away.

Kess in another gem. He is RoCo in making at least.

We lost development coaches and our 2nd year guys paying for it now. We should not underestimate development part.

Spurs were not a serious opponent. JV caught hold of that in the 1st quarter and we were playing experimental lineups out there, KD would be aware of things like that.

Plus Mbappe was in the building, KD was more interested in delivering some TrueHooper memories tonight for the footballer than making the right play. And judging by Mbappes face after a hesi pull-up jimbo I think he succeeded

To me jury is out on Kessler but Cam already is too good at one skill (iso shot creation) to not be a legit NBA player in the right role. Marks should test the waters on what we can get for him since our timelines are not aligned, but I definitely wouldn't throw him away for a rental on a non impact player.

Sharpe on the other hand Id call every team in the league and offer him up to anyone who will listen. He's a waste of a roster/development slot, he plays a Drummond type of game without Drummonds athleticism.

Sharpe always needing to take that one rhythm dribble before going up to finish kills me. Might as well paint a sign on his forehead saying strip me down low. That reminds me of amateur games where guys don't have the explosiveness or height to go up strong right away after the catch.

Clax might be one of the best finishers in the league right now, but Sharpe's ineptness at it and Ben's finesse finishing are killing me.

Team is some way from peaking as too many guys are coming off long injury breaks plus we have trade chips if needed

Nets should reach out to Holger and pay him any amount to work with Ben , if there is anyone who could help him with his shooting it’s him

But he might be to busy , Wembanyama asked him for help and he works with him at the moment

Just a few observations from last nights game...

As we were walking out a Warriors fan wearing a Steph Jersey said to me with a smile. 'We want to see you guys in the finals'. After some more friendly talk he opened up and asked me "why is it so quiet here (The clays)." He didn't say it as a put down, it was a sincere question.

Here is what I believe is the answer. If you would have seen the crowd outside the Clays waiting on a huge line to get in. You would have heard a very young and loud group of people that had kids jumping up in big circles and singing like what you see at soccer games.

This might sound like it is an excuse but IMO it is not. The acoustics at the Barclays is horrible to say the least. We were in section 213 and we could hardly hear the ball bounce or the noise of the players shoes squeaking as they run floor. On top of that the Nets PA system drowns out the crowd. Last night the crowd had a few "Ole Ole Ole" chants that were growing until the PA started blasting a 15 second "Where Brooklyn at" that ended the chants.

It is actually louder on the outside of the arena than it is inside.

A few years ago, if you remember Kenny said the practice facility was like a scene from "Real Madrid". With hoops junkies going crazy. That was truly the vibe last night. By the eye test it was a sold out arena that was engaged as much as it could for a blowout.

Living 2 states away, I have only been to one game at Barclay's and in spite of a very competitive game with both Durant and Harden playing it was very quiet. My 8 year old daughter was probably the loudest one there. The cavernous Byrne/Continental/Izod was louder. It could be acoustics, it could have been the boring iso-ball we were playing at the time, but the crowd seemed largely quiet and disinterested until late in the 4th quarter. My guess is cost prices out many of the younger, more vocal fans in favor of a more boujee crowd.

I think that standing pact and waiting for the buyout market will be the right move. We have the MLE to still use.
