I'd like to see Knight get some consistent minutes (at both PF and C). He provides the defense, rebounding, and energy that this team is all too often lacking. I kind of feel the same about Knight as I used to feel about Vanderbilt before he started getting playing time.
I really thought the lineup tonight that had Edwards, McDaniels, Anderson, and Knight was interesting in that they have decent size while maintaining a ton of switch-ability on defense (add Moore or Dozier to that group and there wouldn't a weak defensive link for opposing teams to exploit).

McD was 9 of 10 from the field and made both 3's. What a game.

Missed the game so only have the box score to go off, but who was guarding Gordon for the most part? Whoever it was did a great job at limiting his impact

Re: Denver at Mn 1-2-23
Amazing how much Russell sitting out fixes these "effort" issues.
This team is a lot more enjoyable to watch when he's not jacking long 3's and getting cooked defensively.
The Nuggets didn't really "Bring it" tonight but that was a much better effort from us.
2 Bigs the whole game and suddenly we aren't obliterated on the offensive boards? Who knew?
Knight and Garza can play and they are much better options than making a guard/wing play out of position.
Jaden spends the whole game at the 3 and is 9/10 for 21 pts.
Keep going with this Finch.
Guarding Jokic with Anderson/Knight and bringing the 5 for help. About time.
Even Rivers did some nice work on Jokic.
Great job on a guy who has been putting up 40 pt trip dubs on the regular.
Lots of credit to Slo-mo on both ends for stablizing things.
Rudy still looks lost, we were sold on a better player than this.
At least he was moving the ball on the offensive end and not mucking things up there tonight.
Gordon with 12 o-boards but half of those were playing patty cake with his own misses, our weak side help did a good job for the most part and Gordon not having a great outside shot is a weakness for the Nuggets.
Ant is ascending to another level, getting more and more lethal around the rim.
Some mental lapses on defense from him and Nowell tonight allowing Hyland to go off, but both were positives for the most part.

I would have to rewatch possessions, but Rudy Gobert was on him a substantial amount.

Since KAT's injury, I think this was the first game we won with Gobert in the starting lineup

We won the very next game after KAT's injury against Memphis, then we beat Pacers & Jazz right after(infamous Gobert end of game layup)
We won the next 3 of 4 games after KATs injury with Gobert in the lineup. Then proceeded to lose the next 3 and he rolls his ankle, then we win the next 3...then lose the next 6...

Turning point? I hope so with all my heart. In January we will play a lot of home games. We hope to win as many as possible because a large part of the season will depend on those matches.
Go Wolves!

Re: Denver at Mn 1-2-23
Listening to Finch's press conference, it's quite clear that he perceives lack of ball movement as an issue... to much hero ball and to many individuals trying to pump their stats up. It's one win tonight, but i actually enjoyed watching Garza and Nate try their guts out with SLOMO playing team ball rather than the same old rubbish we have been serving up this season..

This team was relatively very healthy last season...looks like injury bug has caught up with the team this season. Just lot of injuries happening at the same time..only consolation is that most of them seem to be short term injuries

Nice win! Good to see effort, sharing the ball, and making shots.
