in regards to bad/dumb TO's and stupid shots late in the game: i'm open to giving him the benefit of the doubt because it'd be patently insane for me to think he's never sought to fix it

but that said, if it keeps happening over and over and over and you're the coach, isn't it pretty much up to you to work out SOME sort of solution? no matter how mediocre? so i kinda agree there

like, i kinda get it in the sense that he thinks kawhi's the key to fixing all of that. and sure, i mean you're not gonna win a championship without kawhi anyway. but it's patently obvious that when kawhi's sitting, those things crop up and these issues can easily turn a close win into a close loss.

i still have plenty of faith in lue, but you sure gotta wonder what is going on sometimes, in regards to many things.

We are not a heady team. This was Kawhi's alibi when we dumped out in the Bubble.

He was right. Lou fired at will, hit or miss and more often miss. Trezz is the Incredible Hulk--let him rage but PLEASE don't ask him to think.

And PG is frankly a stats machine but has he ever made the key shot or pass?

Kennard doesn't even want the shot in regular season. You want him taking it in a Game 7? Mann is equally timid.

Forget Zu, who has no offensive game. Senior disappears for a quarter at a time. Reggie will fire because nobody else will, but he's a 30% shooter when the chips are down. (But a 90% FT shooter so that's why he's out there in crunch time.)

So who takes the last shot?

Wall finished minus-11. He was my pick to get us over the top. I think Ty has to keep investing PT in him. I've loved T-Mann since his Summer League debut but he got the start again tonight but once again he remains a bit player.

Regular season don't mean spit. 50 win seasons are meaningless. 3-1 lead. Choke. Never made the Finals.

Seeding matters. Seeding doesn't. Can't have it both ways.

We win tonight with Kawhi. Nice effort. We keep suffering from lack of basketball IQ. But there are no Larry Birds or Magic Johnsons anymore

It's a young man's game now.

Or at least the regular season is.

I think the NBA regular season isn't the joke it used to be. I have the NBA Pass and think the games are usually pretty great.

These kids give it hell.

I think maybe Balmer is fighting the last war. Just like his stint at Microsoft. Good, not great.
We are old and limping. Joker and Ja are not.

Please go away? Any dope off the street can say this when the Clippers get down by 20.

Now we're up by 2 after 3 quarters. Win or lose---Can we PLEASE enjoy our board and our team and our game threads???

Bro you are going after me because I speak the truth. Just because you have blinders on. Morris is a short armed bad rebounder and both are slow and fail to put real effort on defense.

Add in no movement on offense and over dribbling.

We all see what goes wrong. Duh.

Any douche off the street can say we need a better PF and PG.

Oh do you think? Especially when we're down by 20?

We almost came back and won this game. Go away. Any moron can be a fckn vulture.

And if we pull it out you vultures disappear. Until next time. Gtfoh. With all due respect lol.

This so called depth is ruining us. Lue doesn't know which direction to turn. I think he's succumbing to locker room politics which is hurting the team that's trying to go for a championship. Too many old players which can't bring it every night during an 82 game season. Small ball is still terrible. And now the hard part of the schedule is coming up and PG might have tweaked his hamstring all over again. Buckle up for the play in folks

Kawhi is apparently sick, not injured- so hopefully he will be back soon

At what point does the front office start seriously considering starting over from scratch? This team is never, ever going to stay healthy in a million years and they're underachieving even in the five games per year where they do play together.

Take it easy bro! Every fan who sees things differently cannot be a vulture. You have what it takes to stay positive from the tip off till the final buzzer sounds.
But by asking others who think differently as the game progresses to simply F off is also a bit over the top.
If there are fans fed up with the play of a certain player, you shouldn't put up your own personal crusade against those posters.
You have great takes, but calling everyone a vulture is a bit too much bro.

Our core group, with the exception of Powell and Wall, has been playing together for a while now. I don't buy the lack of continuity excuse.

This team is a mess right now and fans have every right to vent about it. This type of season we're having would bring intense scrutiny and criticism in Boston, Philly, or New York. It shouldn't be any different here, given the bill of goods we've been sold about title contention and the deepest team ever. Sterling's long gone, the second-round curse is over, it's well past time to start treating the Clippers as the serious big-market franchise that they're finally operating like.

Whoopee, we almost came back and won. And then what happened? Lue gave it away once again with his horrible rotations. Why are we always having to come back, whether it's from huge early deficits or being down 0-2 in a playoff series? Because Lue never has his teams prepared from the opening tip, has an antiquated offense that relies entirely on high-variance jump shots, and takes forever to make adjustments (if he even bothers making them).

Like Jay-Z once said: "moral victories are for minor league coaches." At some point, there needs to be actual victories to justify the hype.

There's coachspeak and then there's this:

Read on Twitter

Either Lue's arrogant, clueless, or both, but no matter what, it's not a good look.

I meant that with all of the injuries this season, guys are constantly in and out of the line up- so there is a lack of continuity in that sense.

Cant believe im saying this but os it possible we have too much depth? So many decent players but only a limited amount of playing time.
