Giannis stupid long arms allow him to jump and touch the rim from afar, Zion has this soft touch around the rim with jumpers which also would allow him to be good/average after his athletic peak.

His frame could betray him any moment tho

I think he might be a better offensive player in the half court right now.

Giannis is the best transition player and one of the best defensive players in the game though, so there's a pretty large gap between these too, even if Zion's body does hold up.

I'm incredibly impressed with him though. I'd never really watched him until the other night. What a talent!

Same here. I was watching the game and just shaking my head as he went to the rim. There was nothing that anyone could do to stop him. Amazing.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Yeah, i should have said on offense.

Zion being that bad of a defensive player considering his athletic tools is pretty disheartening

Yea defensively Zions seems a little disinterested defensively which has never been Giannis or even Embiid & AD.

Zion doesn't care about defense but if he wanted of course he would dominate. Can you blame him though? defense is banned from the league.

Everything these days is a foul. I imagine that playing defense is harder than it's ever been. Quite the swing from the style that I grew up watching.

Between the touch foul calls and no traveling, it's hard to imagine most of today's players actually playing with the '80's-'90's rules.

Watching Zion: It's so crazy to see a guy that size move that explosively!

Watching the injury report the next day: Ooooh, I guess a guy that size isn't supposed to move that explosively.

Zion not only moves very quickly (for any size). He also processes extremely quickly, and rarely just holds the ball without fast decisions.
