i mean i certainly think that lue has a very clear regular season strategy that means withholding a lot of looks, lineups, and tactics until the playoffs. there was an article that pretty much went over that in the interview that led to him getting hired.

so you know, i'll grit my teeth and go with it if he and the staff truly see something special in some of his wonkier lineups. but if you're not really seeing any positives yet and still not working out some of the really fundamental issues (bad turnovers, bad shots, etc etc) then i mean what are you really doing out there? if you experiment too much in the RS you're gonna have a team that doesn't feel comfortable by the playoffs because they don't have the reps doing the things that should be automatic and second nature. and that's not even counting how injuries and rest factors into all that because those have been tremendous factors in limiting the team's time together.

you also have to make the playoffs

if you fall into the play in, no telling what happens- like last season with PG getting covid at the worst moment

I think Atkinson had all the strategies, and now that he's with the Warriors, Lue's been exposed as a bad coach.

It's been almost 40 games and he needs to see more.

I need to see a new coaching staff on the sidelines, because this one isn't it.

Ty only says that because it's true. Gotta find a way for those guys to contribute. Mann, Coffey and the G-Leaguers are not the answer. That's fantasy. So is blaming Reggie. The problem is mismatched parts after Reggie.

Frankly, a decent 6'9" PF-C would solve a lot of our problems and I bet that's where the FO is directing its energies. Problem is, everybody wants one. That's why Jeff Green, JaMychal Green and Serge Ibaka still get minutes in the NBA. And they're not even decent.
