GT: Nets @ Bulls 1/4 8:00pm

Post#1 » by MrDollarBills » Wed Jan 4, 2023 6:54 pm

This will be a great test for us as the Bulls have some dogs who are coming off of two losses in a row. This is the kind of game where Ben and Claxton really need to shine on both ends.

I also added a poll question: Should Marks try to see if Caruso will be available if the Bulls decide to start selling by the deadline?

It’s time to reclaim the #1 seed that we had last Christmas.

Why is that even a question?

Of course no.

Who's minutes you going to limit and who you giving up?

Collins and Caruso can play don't get that twisted. It's just how they going to fit into this team?

If anything we should've kept PowerGuard who's much better by games being available.

Early game thread! Nets are back

Hard to believe only 1 short month ago this team was so miserable to watch (believe it was after we have up 150 to the Kings and lost to the worst in the league Lakers back to back) that we had an instance of no game thread at all.

For us Royce and Morris will not be playing.

For the Bulls Tony Bradley, Javante Green.

This is another away game and those are always tough to close out. We are rolling like a well oiled machine and need to come out swinging right from the jump.

Bulls are one of those teams that implode when punched.

This will be a good test for Claxton / the defense against Vucevic.

Need a game plan for how to deal with these bigger bodies.

5 1/2 decades of the Nets making trades mainly just for the sake of making trades. No thanks.
But... Let's go Amerks! I never in my life would have believed years back that this franchise with its humble beginnings would be battling it out with the legendary Boston Celtics for first place... but tonight here we are!

Royce and Morris are both not on the injury report.

In fact this might be the first time in a few seasons we have a completely clean injury report. The only players not available are the young G-League guys.

I'd trade Curry and one of the kids for Caruso.

Max I feel like this team can do it. Let's just hope for good health and no implosions from you know who and the Nets can do this

I just went back and reread the report. My bad it had them listed as probable.

This is the first clean report that we've had since Kyrie and KD joined up :-?

This might be one of those nights where the opponent is hitting everything they throw up to the hoop.
