I'd still be skeptical of Serge's age. Thinking Ibaka doth protest too much on this one. The reference books have him just turning 33 a couple months ago.

And it isn't an African players thing, that to me seems like a calculated deflection. Same issues with Ersan and Yi. The bottom line is the money and opportunities are too great not to fudge your age if you can get away with it. Heck, Hollywood actors/actresses have done it as well.

I heard information from those who would know that Ibaka is definitely older than his listed age. I'm guessing he is protesting in this manner because he's still playing, so the age thing potentially affects his livelihood as his career comes to a close. That or he's mad at an accusation that he actively "lied" about it

Random, but was Ben Brust replaced on color? Haven’t heard him there in a while and maybe I missed him leaving or being replaced?

I've wondered the same. He's definitely not on the broadcast this season...which is too bad, he brought good bball insight to the call. Garcia is fine, but I preferred Brust, even moreso than Krause.

Does anyone know how much longer Byington’s contract is? My gosh…how does she have a job as an NBA announcer? Listening to her and Novak is nothing shy of torture. I find myself renewing League Pass every month just so I can listen to the other team’s TV.

If you assume that the Bucks owners are requiring a female broadcaster, I'm good with Lisa. She has a good voice, energy and enthusiasm. If you spin the dial, there are some really bad female (and male) announcers out there. Lisa is not one of those IMO.

All that said, Kayte Christensen out in Sacramento is the gold standard, IMO. Super knowledgeable, and doesn't have the ESPN attitude that most of us can't stand.

Lisa's improved a lot over a year and if you check out other teams on league pass we still are very lucky with what we have.
