We can only hope.

Dlo seems like a decent guy but he's just a bad fit here. Way too inconsistent.

That seals the Ant vs Lamelo debate, not only is Ant a better player, he's a better PG too. XD.

Part of the reason Ant was able to cut loose with that lineup is I believe they all KNEW their roles without conflict.

They knew Ant was getting it and they were the support. We just have too many cooks in the kitchen at times.

I also really enjoyed seeing Ant interact with Rudy after the win. They did the complicated hand slap, both with big smiles on their faces.

I think the main reason Ant struggled (by his standards) in October was getting used to playing with a unique, massive center like Gobert. But now I think, like with every challenge he faces, Ant is figuring it out. There’s no ceiling for this kid!

I watched this game. Notes:

1. I love Luka GARZA's attitude and influence on this team. He is limited but always shows heart and for 10-15 minutes a game, I think he should continue with the team.

2. ANT- The team plays better when he leads. This team has to be built around him and anything that doesn't fit a build around ANT can leave.

3. DLO. Goodbye. Good luck getting another contract but it wont be here..

We really do need a defensive POA PG that is selfless, doesn't need shots and get the ball moving.. anyone have any thoughts on who this could be?

We would look better if we had consistent defense at guard for sure. At really good defender and solid rebounder at point would hopefully rub off on Ant.

1. Love Ant taking it to the rim repeatedly in crunch time instead of settling for the step back.
He's starting to find his game and the scoring instincts in the paint have risen two tiers this season.

2. D-Lo sits in the 4th. yes! Apparently FInch has some interest in keeping his job. It's becoming more and more apparent we really don't need his offense to win games but we really really really need someone who can take his minutes and play good defense.

3. Rivers/Prince/McDaniels/Anderson played amazing defense all night long, but especially in the 4th.
High BBIQ players buying into the gameplan and able to somewhat anticipate what the other team is looking to do and put themselves in great position to react.

4. Luka! Dude can score, but I was more impressed with the defense and hustle. He was supposed to be too slow to make it in the league, but he was in perfect position defensively all game long. Picked up a couple of weak fouls but he's not the liability there with the footspeed that caused him to drop to the bottom of the second round. He won this game for us with 13 points on 5 FGA in the 1st quarter.

5. The effort from Rudy in the second half was the best I've seen from him in a Wolves uniform. It's clear he really cares about winning, it was encouraging to see more buy in from him in this game after some of the stinkers during the losing streak.

Lots of truth there. In a nutshell.

When Kat comes back it's got to be the Kat and ANT show. Let everybody else fill in. Move the frickin ball before you take the 3. Drive and kick for 3.

That's right and Finch has finally realized featuring Rudy won't work as conceived. Make it the Kat and Ant show. Tell Rudy to look for lobs at the basket and get every rebound in sight. Protect the rim.

Every other guy has to be ready to step up. Basically play the right way.

I argued with anybody that would listen that Ant was the guy to draft. Some had Ball or the C from GS. Ant is even better than I had hoped. I am thrilled!

I finally have my dream guard since 1989. I thought it might be Isaiah Rider but his IQ failed him. What a shame.

2 potential great SG's drafted in 30 years. What does that tell you? :)

Steph might have been in there but he left us. Idiot.

Kyle Lowry at this point in his career

Lowry at 36 is already in serious decline, I'd have no interest in having to pay him $30M next season.

Yep. His body is shot. Like Garnett when he came here.

Lowry is playing 35MPG for Miami at age 36, thats big part of the problem

Marcus Smart would be ideal but dreaming. A fit and healthy Malcolm Brogdan?

He can't, Lowry strained a hamstring late last season, and it affected him the rest of the season/playoffs, pretty likely something like that will eventually happen if he continues at this pace

He should be playing more like 28 MPG, but Miami has had a lot of injuries

that George Hill, Pat Beverly type "PG" is rarer these days

Delon Wright
Cory Joseph

but those guys aren't really playoff caliber
