Lowry at 36 is already in serious decline, I'd have no interest in having to pay him $30M next season.

Yep. His body is shot. Like Garnett when he came here.

Lowry is playing 35MPG for Miami at age 36, thats big part of the problem

Way too many minutes.

He's still an analytics darling... just not as much as previous years. The cliff is approaching, it's just a race to see if he can avoid falling off it completely before his contract runs out.

1. I love Luka GARZA's attitude and influence on this team. He is limited but always shows heart and for 10-15 minutes a game, I think he should continue with the team.

2. ANT- The team plays better when he leads. This team has to be built around him and anything that doesn't fit a build around ANT can leave.

3. DLO. Goodbye. Good luck getting another contract but it wont be here..

We really do need a defensive POA PG that is selfless, doesn't need shots and get the ball moving.. anyone have any thoughts on who this could be?

that George Hill, Pat Beverly type "PG" is rarer these days

I think there is a real chance that Pat Beverly gets traded, bought out, and signs with the Wolves.

If they move Russell I can see it although I think Rivers in that type of role has been big over this last stretch especially defensively.

I agree that Rivers has been pretty good lately, but I still think he's a fairly big step down from Pat Beverly. I would be very happy to have the option to play Beverly over Rivers.

The return of TP is the most impactful performance in Twolves history?

Also with 48/37 shooting as well. That's not Steph Curry, but pretty good for a 21-year-old getting doubled a lot.

Ben Simmons? Just kidding but seriously though.
Dlo + Nowell + Naz

Ben is really rounding into shape, I don't think the Nets are looking to move him. Especially as they've won 16 of 18.

He's defending at a very high level, passing and rebounding at his career marks and is scoring efficiently (even if he appears to be doing everything possible to avoid the charity stripe).

Decent game. Pretty good defensive effort on Lillard and Simmons. Didn't feel like we shot as well as we did against Denver, but numbers were still good in that area. Garza and Prince going a combined 10 for 11 helped make it look maybe better than it was.
Finch only gave DLo 2:37 in the 4th Q and 25 minutes in the game. I'd like to see that trend continue. He could be ok as a 18-20 minute a game player.

I actually went back and watched this one again, primarily to watch Luka Garza!

It dawned on me that even with KAT out, it’s kind of been fun watching Naz and Luka (and even Nate Knight) sometime. We are lucky to have so much skilled play at the center position! Of course we’ll be better when Towns gets back, but this stint could have been much worse without our entertaining back ups.

Btw, Clippers come to town tomorrow for their back to back, and they are getting completely destroyed by Denver.

Right now, it’s DEN 61, LAC 23!

Clippers get in at 4 am.

Ugh. Clippers got so far behind, they pulled their starters! So Paul George who’s minutes are limited as he recovers from a hamstring issue should be more rested, and Kawhi usually doesn’t play in the back half of back to backs ..he may be available too.

It really is our luck that we get the Clippers on a back to back but they got destroyed so badly by Denver that George and Leonard have a good chance of playing.

Meh. Bring it.

We need to overcome these kinds of challenges.
