I don’t think we’ve ever played a Maxey/Melton/Harden/Harris/Embiid lineup tho. We’ve gotta give the 3 guard lineup some run before playoff time.

I think that would be okay in certain matchups/in spurts, but we’d regularly get crushed on the boards and defensively if that became a more regular lineup.

Just out of curiosity go look up the 6ers final 30 games of this season and tell me what you think their win/loss record in those games should be.

Winnable game against Pels. Jazz just beat them twice

I watched the Grizzlies run this screen with Morant and Adams. Morant gets the guard on his back as he maintains his dribble in the lane with the center in front of him... Then Adams just screens the center for Morant to drive the opposite direction for an easy layup.

I immediately thought of Harden.

How about Embiid screening like Adams? Have you also thought of that part?

I like Doc's little play with Tucker setting off ball screens and basically walling up a defender to get a corner 3 for someone (usually Tobias). It's a nice wrinkle, particularly against the zone where you can isolate a single defender.

Tucker was in my thoughts. Adams is a great screener though

Melton has been such a good addition to the team. Elite perimeter defender, with a quick trigger behind the 3-point line while shooting them at a really good rate. But also feels the game well. Whenever he drives into the paint and someone helps 1 pass away, he is so reliable in making the right play.

Obviously not good enough as a playmaker, but a terrific fit next to Harden. Really intrigued by the possibility to let Harden defend SF's and run with a Maxey, Melton, Harden, Harris and Embiid lineup.

Best record in the league since the first 3 games... with all the injuries and nonsense during all that.

Sounds like Rivers is due some credit. I'm not even a Rivers fan, but gotta give credit where he's due. If he's going to get all the blame from people every time something goes wrong, gotta credit him from being only a couple games back where the following players this year missed time: Embiid, Harden, Maxey, Harris, Melton. Every single one of your 5 best guys missed games this year, and your 3 best players missed the majority of them and they're a few games out of the best record in the NBA.

I’m starting to think the biggest flaw in this team is defensive rebounding. I’m not sure if there is an answer on the roster. More Melton would instead of Tucker would help. Reed with Embiid too but hell will freeze over before we see that tried.

Moving Harris for more rebounding along with shooting if a trade.

I think Harden's minutes when he's with Joel are generally pretty low energy minutes. So watching the games...I don't usually feel so bad for him. However, it would be nice to get him under 35. These 5 overtimes hasn't helped his averages. Considering he missed over a month, still taking planned rest days, and picks/chooses even he's giving full effort. I'm not worried.

Even his foot strain, even it occurred early on was a freak accident from that collision that he played though vs Washington and they probably took an abundance of caution with his month break.
