For all the crap they get, at least Donnie and RC did that as seen with Powell, DFS, Maxi (and many other former Mavs). Hardy can be that guy they develop from within to become a meaningful player but they're not even giving the guy garbage minutes. How a guy like Pinson gets minutes over him is just dumb.

Pinson plays like 1-3 mins only. That experience would do nothing for Jaden compared to the GLeague.

Hardy will get his chance. Walker will likely miss some time, by then Hardy may be more comfortable at NBA speed.

Hardy isn't a PG, he's a scorer, he can't be trusted as the main ball handler, he'll replace THJ on the floor just fine, but not Luka/Dinwiddie.

Hearing Kidd talk about his own team, you wonder if this guy is getting dumber every time he opens his mouth.

They are trash, but the turn around Hardy had there is amazing, he's a dominant and effecient scorer, last year he was horrible, I'd attribute it to MWIV, and agreed on Dorsey, he deserves a chance.

Absolutely agree.

But we don't have space for him right now and i don't even know if we have time to develop him.

How is it possible to not have time to develop a player with high potential on a treadmill team? The Mavs are going nowhere and can't invest into the future?

Because our FO/coach think that Dallas is a contender and want to play for win.... So with THJ and Bullock we don't have minutes for Hardy.
It's not the right situation for him.

I hope they don't screw it up. Just like im equally scared of how they will handle Green. Both Hardy and Green are young guys who absolutely need minutes and experience. Mavs have no cap or real trade assets, i don't understand why they keep forcing Bullock or even Frank before Hardy. At least Green is finally getting the minutes he deserves.

You would think our front office and coach would want some young talent on the floor that could be our future.

He has been looking really great the times he has been allowed to go ham. He is really explosive and his ability to finish is great. The way he uses his body against the shot-blocker is just perfect. He does struggle a bit when he goes soft around the basket, but except for that and defense, he looks great when you compare him to what he played like in the g-league last year and his horrible summer-league performance.

LOVED his demeanor yesterday, he got in when the game was a blowout, and with Powell kept attacking and brought it down to 15 against Celtics starters, Bullock fouled Tatum for And1 and killed Mavs momentum.
Dinwiddie was deferring to him, after the And1 SD and THJ tried to salvage and made it worse.

should be a future bright spot for this team as a ball handler and 3 point threat who can do this great as a 2nd round pick rookie and that makes me have hope that our drafting skills have been upgraded with Nico at the helm.

Jaden Hardy is young but he proved he can be special. I hope we let him playore minutes next season. I also hope he's on our summer league team so he can make a name for himself.

20 years old and he's a piece that should be a focal point.
