The Dallas game was impressive. But it was a "big" game on national TV. Lets see if they can keep the same mindset vs a bad team in a lowkey game. The Spurs are terrible

GET THIS ONE TOO
play to a standard not the competition

Like this, please (look at short-haired baby RWIII blocking DWhite twice on this — and I’ve watched his last dunk here probably 100x, Scal sounds like Cookie Monster it’s great):

Cs are 13-5 against sub-500 teams. Pop is 15-3 against the Celtics in the Brad era. Tatum’s career scoring high came against the Spurs. But they have Romeo Langford. Something’s gotta give!

I think Spurs are without Richardson, Diop, and Vassell but don’t quote me on that.

The only West teams Celtics haven’t beaten yet are the Spurs (two chances), Jazz (two chances), and the Warriors (one chance).

The last time we’ve won against every West team in a non-shortened season was 2007-08.

Spurs on 2nd night of B2B. Early start. They're without their 2nd leading scorer. Cs coming off one of their best defensive games of the season. Is this still a trap game if someone warned the players this could be a trap game?

Stat of the Day: There are 21 players (min 15 GPs, 15 mpg) who have a 3:1 assist:turnover ratio or better. Three of them are on the Celtics -- Horford (4.22), Smart (3.26), White (3.08). Celtics outscore opponents by almost 15 points per 100 possessions with all three on the floor. Contrary to some opinions, those lineups have been shooting well -- 59.7 eFG% (97th percentile).

Spurs could be without their top two scorers. Keldon Johnson suffered a hamstring injury in their game vs. the Pistons.

Spurs without two of their top scorers... and they are awful anyway... This ought to be a blow out. Something like 120-80...

But I just hope we pull out a win... :)

I would call this a potential trap game, but that ususally refers to a team that is playing really well, and they don't give the other team the attnetion they deserve - since the C's haven't been playing really well, this game can't actually qualify as such.
So instead I'll call this a potential "let's not embarass ourselves again" game, and hope that they actually play a solid game from start to finish.
Come on guys, lets get back to playing high-level, team-centric, hard-nosed, start-to-finish basketball.

Would be nice if Boston could get a damn big lead and be able sit and rest all of our main and old guys by start of the 4tn quarter. Especially old MAN Al and RW. But after OKC I guess I should just be hoping for a win..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

D White's first game back in San Antonio.

Romeo playing against his former team, it'll be fun!

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Dang you guys lol. We've lost a few games to bad teams but we've won most of our games against bad teams. We will win this thing! Chin up, go C's!

Edit: I should have said Abby Chin up.
