He really is there for the taking. Probably wants to start and knows it’s not happening with road blocks Goober and KAT ahead of him. He will be looking for starting opportunity if he hits free agency.

We need to be trying to get him. Nice fit next to Bam and only 23 years old. Would be nice to have some size in the paint when Bams guarding the perimeter

It's no surprise other teams can offer trade packages that don't touch their top 3 players.

When the salary fillers are Lowry and Duncan it will tend to devalue our picks especially with so many teams around the NBA with expiring attachments, young drafted cost controlled players, and a full cupboard of picks to contend with for any significant name that hits the market.

BFresh is right when he mentions not going a penny over the tax this year. Mickey is not letting that 10 million in revenue sharing slip away. I assume he will pay some next year depending on who we get that needs to be resigned.

I think the league is on to our modus operandi of waiting for that prince charming or whale to save us. Our whole offseason went kaput and also the Giannis summer killed us too. We're whores.

Vucevic last night 19/18/10 with 2 blocks and 2 3s on 8/14 shooting. Bulls won though dammit....I want us to get him and Dragic so bad but looks unlikely lol. That passing with him and Bam as the 2 bigs would be insane.

I get what you all are saying but there are way to many guys out there to not get a deal or 2 done if the goal is to use Lowry and/or Duncan attached to any of our picks/Jovic. We just don’t know what the front office is thinking

I still think he’s a very realistic get but it’s going to cost us. Bulls gave up two picks 2021 and 2023 top 4 protected to get Vucevic along with a young prospect in Wendell Carter and a very useful Otto Porter. Bulls would probably love to get our 2023 pick to cover for them giving it up to Orlando. If we trade assets for Vucevic it needs to come with a 3 year extension. Probably like 3 for 60. Will save the team 10 million from what Lowry is making to ease up the tax burden.

Vuc would be awesome, wanted him for awhile. I’d be lying if I said his fit defensively didn’t worry me though. It does match us up pretty well with the other top teams I just worry about his ability to get out and contest shooters when needed.

The same could be said for Turner/Naz/Bamba though.

Also remember. No matter how many picks we have, just the Knicks themselves have like 12 picks, most of them probably better than any we have. And their are a few teams sitting on mountains of picks. What ever we want for picks, another team can outbid us, and would most likely not come with any negative assets attached, unlike us.

Not to be a downer, but I have very little faith in our org to get a guy who makes us contenders. They've got a proven track record of overpaying g leaguers and jettisoning draft picks. Our trash isn't going to be attractive to other teams.

We need a reset.

It won't happen.

Duncan Jovic Dedmon and a 1st works and saves us $1.8M. Maybe a starting point at least
