Haha. I'm trying to reset here man, lol.

BTW, what did it take for PLand to get Grant? I've already forgotten.

A 1st and 2 2nds!

Ah, yes. We don't have any 2nd rounders till 2077. Can't match any team in picks.

I think we have 3 but the earliest is 2026 lol

Dlos expiring so they lose him for nothing or get a PG who fills their needs better. When DLo walks this summer they don’t have cap space to improve or replace him. That deals a win win on both sides.

Not sure I agree with this. They dont want to extend DLo at his current contract which is 30 mil. They also have cap issues to worry about. The market for DLo is not 30+ mil. I can see something like 20 to 25 mil especially with the year he is having unless one thinks the Spurs will throw money at him. In that situation, what sense does it make to take on Lowry who has another year at 30 mil left? Thats not even touching what they spent to get him. They can also at worse case work out a sign and trade in the offseason so trading for Lowry is not happening unless we add at least two picks or more and that doesnt really make sense for us either but it would get us under the tax.

Just like the market for turner and other guys isn’t $30M but we keep saying we won’t trade for them because they’ll ask for too much money. It’s just nitpicking

Turner is actually wanted and unfortunately multiple teams will have cap space to pay him his asking price as long as he is healthy this year. A center that can shoot 3s, defend and can block shots will always be in demand.

DLo is a different story. He is not really wanted at the price he thinks he should be paid. The problem is in general teams make stupid moves, heck look at us with Lowry and Duncan, that's 180 million dollars wasted on those two.

If we were bad like the Raptors right now, then I'd agree with the trade Jimmy takes. But I feel like we're playing better lately. We just need to trade for a good 4 like a John Collins, OG Anunoby or Myles Turner and I think we'll make a run

I promise you Turner isn’t getting $30M, if he does that team isn’t winning anything

Look beyond the stats and his current situation with the Hawks and envision him between Bam and Butler. Can't be so short sighted here. Think of the Markannen situation.
Collins is not a dirty work player. He is all finesse

Yep I like Collins, but he's more finesse and pretty soft. Who thinks Tucker or Crowder would allow that rebound like that then let them celebrate on top of him like this lol.

Couldn't be more embarrassing for Collins in that clip, lol. Being buried underneath a celebratory game winner that you contributed to is so rough.

Might want to consider selling him now before he opts out and demands a bigger deal

We’ve gone through this the past two summers and nobody is biting on a big deal for Oladipo
