not sure why no one's talking about Trey Alexander tbh, so good. legit 1st round guy imo if he keeps playing well.

Andre Jackson from UConn reminds me of Lonzo Ball if he refused to and/or could not score or shoot. If he could be just a bit more aggressive with some success, I think there's something there. Plus size, good athlete, good and disruptive defender, sees the floor really well, plays with pace. But the scoring part is obviously a big IF for him.

been talking about him since last season, shooting is not developing at all and he can't hit FTs but he has NBA athleticism pretty clearly and some outlier passing chops for his archetype.

hard to put a grade on a guy like this because it could literally go either way but he's definitely a guy.

the most legit NBA prospect playing for Creighton and it's not close. He's not particularly speedy but an all-around solid athlete, good body, good (and improving) handles and a promising midrange game.

Covered him in one my pre-season videos. I think he's a future G-Leaguer for life most likely. When you're 6'4" and not really elite at any one thing, not a great athlete, it's a tough road man. But a really nice college player. Creighton has a ton of future GL-ers.

Super fun player. Would have to see more evidence of shooting before I'd really think about drafting him. But if he declares this year, could be a nice UDFA that gets a two-way somewhere.

I hate to make the comparison. But the way Jackson is a non-PG who is so good at finding the open man, creating quality looks for teammates, always prioritizing finding a good look for a teammate over trying to force a shot by himself, literally only caring about the team scoring rather than him scoring, making his teammates better, he'll take the open shot or the open drive if it's there, but more often than not he is setting up a teammate for a quality shot - it's similar to how Bill Russell was on offense.

Bill Russell on offense. But as a 6'6" wing, rather than as a 6'10" Center. Both play bigger than their listed height. Both very athletic, with high energy, high motor. Obviously Jackson isn't as good defensively or rebounding as Bill, but he's a better outside shooter.

It's really just that offensive style I find similar. And pointing it out, so people don't see the lack of scoring to be as much of a drawback with Jackson.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

ok that's officially the weirdest comp i've ever heard on this board and we've seen some wild ones lol

Jackson has legitimate PG skills, he's not just a wing that can pass, he has real chops in that arena and I'm almost tempted to eval him as a big PG instead

i think Zo is actually a pretty decent comp, obviously the scoring/shooting is a huge question and that's something that could make or break him in the NBA but his playmaking is real and the physical profile clears the NBA level easily.

a Justise Winslow comp also makes some sense, but even Winslow is better offensively from a scoring standpoint and he's not exactly a great scorer.

Plus 2 steals and a block...he never really got his outside shot in a great place but this guy can easily step in and play backup PG minutes next year

Do you like any of the Jr/Sr PGs in this class? Anyone who could be the next Jalen Brunson (even if worse)?

I'm mostly looking at Colby Jones, Marcus Sasser, Mike Miles and Adam Flagler. How would you rank them as of today?

I honestly don’t get the Miles love. They are projecting him as a first rounder now. He’s too little imo

Jaelen House (son of Eddie House) could get drafted, especially on the tail wind of Grand Theft Alvarado. The dude is small but he's just really good. Hard to deny. At the very least one of the first guys you call up as a UDFA.

Peterson: 6-9 guard, tough shot taker and maker.
Bacot: nothing special, better Looney on both ends. Small shades of Zbo.

I agree on Edey, thought the same last year. I don’t think he goes high but is it impossible he has a shot at being Brook Lopez?

that's how i'd describe kinsey. instead of dude is small, dude doesn't shoot the three, but he's just really good at basketball. i love his game, so i'm probably overrating him, i'd consider him in the late first. but maybe mid-second is more realistic.
